Did anybody see Sheinelle during the America 250 show?
The network announced she would be anchoring from 11-1 and on Friday she and Jenna discussed how they would both be working but I didn't see her during any of the coverage... I hope everything is okay.
I have to say, it's been good. I'm enjoying. Willie Geist is really the star of anything he's on. I loved watching the history that he reflected upon. Oh, but then there's poor Jenna. Tragedy she showed up in her pajamas for the tour of Queen Mary 2. Then had to (in pure Jenna fashion) made the segment about herself and grandparents. Newsflash, Jenna. Today is not about YOU. Or YOUR GRANDPARENTS.
This morning, at the top of the 8:00am hour, when they did the update on the Nancy Guthrie investigation, I was puzzled by it at first. Then, I realized, this was the first time that the investigation & family were willing to reveal that the ransom note confirmed her death. When they then showed the emotional pleas from the family, etc. I was sure Savannah would not be a part of the segment, but there she was! Brave! Strong! So real and raw in how much pain it causes her daily but she keeps showing up. Surrounded & loved by her family at the show, I felt the ache. That was quite a moment. I also almost lost it when Vicky Nguyen had to open her segment about eyewear moments later and did so in a teary/shaky voice. Gah..😩
