Subaru Connect - where are climate controls, preconditioning‽

I live in a region with some pretty cold winters, and expected the remote start to include climate controls like the MySubaru app. But all I have is an on/off button. Do I have to set this all in the Canon the night before?

I got mine!

Sad no green😔 but love it anyway. My Catrike fits in it better than either of my previous outbacks!

Question though, I ended up with a premium due to availability and it does not have the 12v in the back😭. Anyone know where it plugs it usually? Also could I get to it without surgery? I wanna put a rearview camera in without messing up the body trim all the way back.
