I hate my life (the quarry)

I was close to the end of the game and then chapter nine comes and i didnt shoot cuz i was confused and then laura and ryan died and now i took to long to not breath bcs i was waiting for a visual cue and now dylan and kaitlyn (who is/was my favourite character) are dead as well. At this point i dont know if i even have the strength to finish the game. Ive been playing for a full day and a half and now im just depressed. Help, should i go back the chapters or do i really have to live with the consequences of my failed qtes?

Uptdate: i hate my life slightly less (still the quarry)

Finished the game with almost everyone dead so now ive gone back to fix my mistakes. Just finished chapter 9, missed a shot but managed to hit chris nontheless so so far so good... now all that is left saving kaitlyn, my favorite character, in chapter 10. Wish me luck!!!

Directive 8020 Made Me Rage Quit.

Directive 8020 made me rage quit. The game to me was tedious, repetitive and boring as heck. This is the only game from Supermassive Games that I didn’t play the whole way through. I never got past the second chapter because I thought the stealth portion of the game to be repetitive. Making it a standalone game instead of part of the Dark Pictures Anthology was a mistake. In my opinion, they took out the one thing that made the games fun to begin with. The curator was the best part of the game, he gave you clues that there was more going on than meets the eye. Directive 8020 failed to meet this aspect by a long shot. Unfortunately if Supermassive games believes that this is the direction going forward, I won’t buy another Dark Pictures Anthology game until they go back to the original format.

The casting of frank stone

I'm a huge supermassive fan, but I have to admit, their games are hit or miss for me. I've played Until Dawn(not the remake, though), Man of Medan, Little Hope, House of Ashes, the Quarry, the Devil in me, and Directive 8020. I have not played the casting of Frank Stone. I don't know anything about dead by daylight, but that doesn't matter to me. All I care about is if it's a good game with good gameplay. What are everyone's thoughts on this game? Did you like it? Hate it? Though meh, it could be better. Should I get it? Would you recommend it? Thanks!

Directive 8020 episode 8 question.

There will obviously be spoilers here for the last episode of Directive 8020.

I am trying to 100% all the episodes, see every death, witness every outcome, get every collectable, etc... I have gotten 100% on every episode, except for the last one. I am at 99%. I am literally missing one consequence, and it is confounding me. It's the consequence right after knock knock(when you see Mitchell at the door, and you can let him in or abandon him). The consequence I'm missing is right between swarmed(where Mitchell dies to the aliens) and duplicitous(where the person at the door is revealed to be an imposter).

The requirements for that consequence says Mitchell has to be alive, Eisele or Cernan is present at the door, and choose to abandon him. So, I did all that. Mitchell is alive. Cernan was at the door. Cooper always answers the door, so I had to kill her. But then, with Cooper dead, Brianna answers the door. This pissed me off. So, I rewound the game, and killed Brianna Young. I must be really dedicated to get this consequence where I purposefully kill two playable characters. Finally, with Cooper dead and Young dead, Cernan answers the door when Mitchell comes knocking. I choose to abandon and....nothing. What the hell? I didn't get the consequence. I even played through to the end and saw the end credits, thinking it might pop later. Nope. My thinking for this consequence is that with both pilots dead, Stafford is forced to fly the sev away, so I was thinking the consequence might be tied to having both pilots, er....not living.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong and what you did to unlock that consequence, if you've gotten it? Thanks!

Just played the quarry. What decision game should I play next?

Ok first of all you can skip this paragraph (SPOILERS), I'm just ranting, but holy shit I think I got the worst fucking ending, I wasn't paying enough attention in that scene so I didn't know if it was Laura or Chris I was going to shoot with Ryan in the basement, I thought they did a classic switcharoo so you wouldn't know which werewolf was which, turns out watching it back you could fucking tell, I was just a dummy. Didn't shoot. Chris bashed ryans head in, and Laura, the one I was trying to save, dies too alongside the policeman, who I thought was the only good Hackett, didnt want him dead at all, coincidentally the only one I killed except the mom. Final scene I got the silver bullet with kaitlyn, trying to line my shot up, turns out you get a quarter of a seconds to shoot, she also gets completely annihilated. Curse remains, all the Hacketts are alive, I'm pissed. Emma is still alive, yet, I want MORE

I've always loved decision based games but I didn't know I had such a wide variety of options until I discovered supermassive, and I don't need it to be just their stuff but which decision based games would you guys recommend me to play next? Seeing house of ashes a lot online, was thinking about that one but wanted to ask here first.

I haven't played many decision based games, been stuck in a bit of a multiplayer loop, so if you're thinking of an answer you think is too obvious I've probably played it, I probably very much haven't so please do give me the best games you can think of
