im new and don’t know a lot about the game yet

I’m just starting Xeno Pets (i’ve avoided it for a while) and i’m not sure what to do or how to start, could someone explain it simply? I didn’t understand it on the ultimate survivors guide.

I currently have 5 Xeno Pet Cores, 9 S Pet Chests, 4026K Pet Cookies, and an avalanche of regular pets to dismiss for Xeno Crystals (currently at 20.6K)

My Rex that i’m using is maxed out at R5 and my main fear is that I switch to Xeno Pets with what I have now and lose attack/stat power.

Please don’t bash me for asking this question, I know its a repeated question, i’m just looking for a simple guide on how to get started (and making sure i’m ready in terms of resources)

Before we start, I'm new,like less than a month long, so I am asking the veterans for their guidance.

So firstly what are the requirements for Steamrolling chapters? Is it really unknown like the wiki says? I've been doing it since chp 20 and now I'm in chp 50+, so when does it stop?

The fandom wiki is abysmal (it doesn't deserve capitalization.)

Next what survivor should I invest in? Like I have 50 Taloxa shards 50/120 of the way there, and (50+ "Survivor Shard Choice chests") while I do have some other shards Taloxa is of the highest quantity.

Now lastly is there a video explaining the meta? I never have luck when searching on my own. I'm asking since I'm relatively new and unfamiliar with the survivor.io scene on YouTube™.

I think that I don't break the rules about common advice seeking since all the posts that I could find relevant to this matter are 6m or older.
