What’s this white stuff under the Fronx? It’s at the rear under the bumper, looks like it’s been painted on (there are visible hardened drips).

Twin suzuki 2.5hp xD

Some butthead stole my yamaha, all I had was a suzi df2.5

So instead of spending 2200 on another yammy, I spent 800 on another suzuki.

runs friggin awesome :)

on a west marine plastic 9'4" cathedral hull btw. rated for 2hp. old yamaha was 6. this isnt as fast obv (more drag, less hp) but its enough to put a breeze on and cut my half hour commute to 15 min.

Suzuki katana 750

Is a Suzuki Katana 750 worth buying in 2026? What's the bike like, and what parts are available? What should I check when buying? What are its weaknesses? And what's my overall impression of the bike?

Is it worth changing the gearbox?

Hi I have a 2007 suzuki swift 1.3 petrol have had it for over a year and never really had problems however the last day I was on the motorway in 5th gear when all of a sudden my 5th gear stopped working, it was just like going into neutral.

My 5th gear no longer works and it gets stuck if you try put it in, 1-4th gear work normally as they used to.
I bought the car for 1.6k and it has a few age scratches and dents as it would for the age, however it’ll cost me around 500 euro or more to get the gearbox replaced and I don’t really have the money to be putting into it… is it worth changing or could I try sell the car?
Also do I have to change the whole gearbox?

Is the Swift hybrid too flimsy to handle a collision?

Considering the Swift as a new car but I’m worried about how light it is. The body panels must be pretty thin too. My Yaris got banged up pretty bad when a car rear ended it at moderate speed so I’m not too sure about structural integrity of light hatches now. I’d appreciate it if anyone can provide some insight. Thank you!

Is this a good deal?

Would be used for daily driving mostly to and from school and work and then possibly deer hunting.

2024 Suzuki Swift Hybrid (Australia) – Can’t find build or compliance plate anywhere. Can another owner check theirs?

Hi everyone,

I’m a professional vehicle inspector in Australia and have inspected well over 10,000 vehicles. I’ve come across something I’ve never seen before.

I’m inspecting a 2024 Suzuki Swift Hybrid (Australian delivered) that appears completely original:

No evidence of accident damage.

Factory paint throughout.

Original panels and fasteners.

VIN matches the registration and windscreen.

However, I cannot find the build plate or ADR compliance plate/label anywhere.

I’ve checked all the usual locations:

Driver’s door jamb/B-pillar.

Passenger door jamb.

Under the bonnet.

Firewall.

Strut towers.

Radiator support.

Tailgate/hatch area.

Other obvious locations.

I contacted Suzuki Australia and they advised the vehicle should have one. They suggested it’s possible it was removed during repairs and not replaced, although I can’t find any signs the vehicle has been repaired.

Could anyone with a 2024 Australian Suzuki Swift Hybrid please tell me:

Exactly where your build/compliance plate or ADR label is located?

If possible, could you upload a photo of its location (you can cover the VIN)?

I’d really appreciate any help as I’m purchasing this vehicle on behalf of a client and want to be absolutely certain everything is legitimate.

Found a good deal on a used Suzuki Vitara only problem is its bright yellow

Right, talk some sense into me.

Found a used Suzuki Vitara thats a good bit cheaper than everything else ive seen. Car looks well kept and ticks all my boxes. Only thing is its yellow, basically the one colour i didnt want.

So would you still buy it if the price is right or does the colour put you off completely.

And would a yellow one be a pain to sell on later in UK.

Not too fussed about it standing out, just dont want to be stuck with it in a couple of years when nobody wants it. Cheers

How’s the ride quality and steering “feel” on the 2025/26 Swift hybrid?

I’ve heard the suspension is on the firm side…but is it harsh because the car is pretty low and close to the ground? Asking because I currently have an older Yaris hatch and I feel every little bump and vibration through the steering wheel at moderate speed and it’s very tiring after a while.

Little Swifty Gets PPF'd and some bits done!

Ello All,

Thought i'd just share for awareness and idea generation amongst the wider global community.

My little pompey swift has had a mini facelift this past fortnight and hopefully some of the modifications may be of interest to other owners.

Perhaps you'd like to do the same? Or just have a look at what custom mods another fellow swift driver does 😈🤷🏻‍♀️🚙

On the interior front, the swift now has a two tone black and grey genuine italian alcantara shift knob (no stitch) as well as boot (in lime stitch) which replaces the stock rubber, painted gloss black, and hard pebbled plastic three piece atop a pvc leather trim.

The boot's rear parcel shelf tray has now been stitched in water resistant saddle brown PVC leatherette with gold thread - whilst the liftgate has been upgraded from a thin cover lid combo to a full cross-stitched pattern - upholstered in the same fabric as below ✅

Outside - the emblems, side mirrors including signal led strips, fuel tank lid, portions of the rear bumper as well as license plate holder, and all four doors now feature Terminax ultraNAX clear paint protection film, whilst all vertical door panels (A, B, and C) as well as liftgate roof spoiler now have their carbon-x fiber sticker with proprietary crossfusion technology.

Similar to 3M's version, Terminax once applied over the first 72 hours uses invisichannel adhesion technology, a porous system that reduces bubbles and creates a realistic flat yet gloss even carbon fiber look 🏁

It also has hydrophobic qualities and is self-healing from key scratches, bird droppings, and tree sap with just sunlight heat required to zip up tears.

Warranty is 10 years from Terminax Singapore.

The AOL chassis swift has started becoming more common here due to unsold stock (cars here are the most expensive in the world!) being pushed to car sharing company GetGo.

In fact, some people have thought my swift was a rental car but were taken aback to realise it was a personal vehicle instead.

Sooo i've taken some additional steps to distance the car from others on the road - with the front lip in unpainted ABS plastic being sprayed a rare shade of grey.

The colour is Grigio Nimbus Matte and it is original for the Lamborghini Huracan and Urus - which we successfully ordered in and mixed up.

Next, the car was given a license plate facelift and is now running a gloss yellow rear and white front european style plate rather than the black with white/silver lettering mandated for Singaporean private and commercial cars.

All these versions are legal on roads here, and yellow rear and white front with black wording was introduced on buses and goods vehicles to distance them from private vehicles on our roads.

However, post-purchase there is no requirement preventing their interchangeability other than the fee to produce.

The rear license plate frame is also square which is generally used on JDM cars imported into Singapore and resold by parallel aka grey importers. This is to distance the car visually from UK/EU and Singapore models even further that utilise the rectangular plate format.

Thanks for looking!
