Deferral Timeline

Was just wondering what the deferral timeline was for any past Aggies. Sent my transcript on may 11 and it already has the green checkmark. I wasn’t sure how soon they started looking at spring transcripts and put audits out. I know everyone’s timeline is different but any info would help ease the nerves!

Mays transfer “deferral” / continued review but I’m not taking spring classes?

Trying to figure out what exactly happened with my Fall 2026 Mays transfer application.
AIS changed from “Complete and In Review” to just “View My Decision,” and the letter I got basically says Mays wants to postpone a decision and re-review my application after spring grades are submitted.
The confusing part:
I applied for FALL 2026 transfer
I am NOT taking Spring 2026 classes
my last classes were Summer II 2025
The letter says I need to:
submit spring grades by June 1 for reconsideration
but I literally don’t have spring grades to send.
It also says:
“Only those reviewed applicants whom the college determines as competitive are given the opportunity to submit spring grades for a second review.”
So now I’m confused if this is:
a soft rejection
a transfer deferral
or some kind of continued review pool

My stats:
3.91 transfer GPA
all Mays prereqs completed
Marine Corps background
strong essays/recommendations
My checklist still shows all admission documents complete, but under:
“Additional documents required if admitted”
it says:
“COLLEGE TRNS FINAL GRADES FROM BLINN COLLEGE” not received

Transfer deferral

I just submitted my grades and ended with a 3.338 gpa exact. I applied for communications ba and had all the required and even recommended classes completed by the time I applied. I also ended with all A’s my first full actual year at CC. I still feel like my gpa is kinda low, and kinda confused why I got deferred in the first place when my gpa was even lower. Is it because they just wanted to see me get all A’s my spring semester or for my gpa to boost a little bit? Thank you!

I submitted my spring 2026 transcript, now what?

Howdy, I was deferred back in February because I was completing required coursework for Fall 2026 transfer admission. I submitted my spring grades and my overall GPA is around a 3.9

What happens now that I submitted my transcript? Thank you and Gig 'Em

Blue “Login to AIS to view decision” link but still says Complete and In Review?

Transfer applicant for Fall 2026 Mays here.

I noticed the blue “Login to AIS to view decision” link showed up in Howdy, but when I click it, it just takes me back to AIS and still says:

“My App Is Complete And In Review”

No actual decision letter or status update yet.

I’ve been seeing a lot of posts on Reddit saying the blue link usually means denial/deferred, while admits apparently just randomly get accepted without the link, so now I’m stressing a bit.

context:
3.91 transfer GPA
all Mays prereqs completed
Marine Corps background
strong essays/recommendations
not taking Spring 2026 classes (last classes were Summer II 2025)

I also emailed admissions and they confirmed my application was sent to Mays and that decisions are still being made through June.

Did anyone else have the blue link and still get admitted? Or is this just a normal AIS/Howdy sync thing?

Odds of getting in?

Hello, I currently finished my 4th semester a Blinn as a normal student (no TEAM). At the beginning of the spring I got deferred from TAMU due to me taking a required class that semester. I finished up all my classes and everything on the transfer sheet ending with a 3.53GPA 68 Transferable Credits. What % would you give me of getting into TAMU Industrial Distribution program? If you say 50% or lower could you explain what makes it a mediocre applications? Thanks!

Required Classes:
Calc 1&2 = A’s
Physics 1 = B
Physics 2 = A
Gen Chem = B

Fall deferral

I have 48 total credits. I have only made 2 b’s one was in high school dual credit and the other was one required course being math. Although this spring semester I took the other required math and I got a A. I did all required and all the recommended classes and have I have a 3.87 GPA. I didn’t have the best essay( since I’m not the best writer) but did have plenty of jobs and internships with in my major and had a lot of awards and was a chancellor in the community college. My first major is Ag Business and 2nd is ag economics. What are my chances of being excepted.

My odds at getting in?

I have a 3.75 UW and a 4.94 weighted GPA. I do not have a class rank as my school was too competitive for it (top 15 school in the nation). My SAT is a 1420. I will have graduated with 9 APs, AP capstone diploma, PLTW capstone diploma, and 120+ service hours. I am a 4 year varsity football player, founder of a club which gives Bibles to the less fortunate, member of TSA, member of French honor society, and FCA member. I plan to apply to TAMU and the Corp of cadets army ROTC in the fall of this year from South Carolina (I'll do early decision and plan to major in construction sciences). If anyone could help me determine my odds of admission I would appreciate it.

Fall 2026 transfer

I’m trying to transfer into communication’s my gpa is a 4.0 and I was deferred for spring grades. I have 28 credits completed, but 3 of those don’t transfer, I only took one out of the 3 recommend classes on the transfer sheet got an A. Required class was also finished with an A. I the only thing I’m worried about is my essay bc I read it back and it was lowk kinda bad 😭😭😭 I also don’t have any ecs ( aside from jobs) what are my chances ? Ty!

Question about spring grades

My Ais updated today with this prompt, and I can’t tell if A&M received my spring grades. Does anyone know if this is a reminder, or if I should send them again?

GPA dropping last semester/ already accepted

Howdy! I am a accepted class of 2030 engineering major. My grades through senior year had remained around 93-95 and my GPA would end around a 4.0. This was until 2 weeks ago when my teachers started picking up how much work they were assigning and the test. I was doing fine keeping up until my appendix ruptured and I’m now homebound and my grades have dropped to Cs in both my AP classes and DC classes. My school has been the least helpful pretty much telling me to make everything up when I get back. My earliest expected return date is Wednesday (during finals). My surgeon does not want me to return at all this school year due to my body still being weak and not being able to get out of bed until this week. Will this rescind my offer of admission? If it does affect me who do I contact at TAMU to talk this out? Thanks and gig ‘em!

Freshman Year Engineering Student courses

I was working on which courses I wanted to take freshman year to align with my major. I am TRYING to be an Aerospace Engineer. Does this plan look valid. Did I make any changes that wouldn’t be allowed when registering for courses. For context, while I still haven’t gotten my calc bc and physics c exam scores, I am pretty confident in at least a 4-5 for all 3 courses. Im mostly concerned about the ability to take AERO 221 in semester 1. Although it doesn’t need me to be on the aerospace engineering degree plan for me to take it. Considering i’d have cleared 2 physics and 2 math courses, does that let me get through ETAM earlier or is it still a full year.

MPE

  1. Is the MPE multiple choice for fall 2026?

  2. How do you input answers if the above is no? Like if I have a fractional answer do I do (y)/(x) or y/x?

I’d rather not fail this exam because I input my answers wrong
