Bonus Mid Air Kibble Snatch On The Last Shot

In the last part I think it flew back over by the way they were all visually tracking something in the sky

I have been witnessing this couple since they were making their nests. They made nests at 3 places in the vicinity. Then they stayed for a few days at all 3 places. Then they chose this spot. This nest was their second attempt. If you notice they are using plastic ropes and threads along with the twigs. Mama crow laid eggs - surprisingly crow eggs are turquoise bluish with white spots.. till now when 3 babies could make it out of 5. Day in day out the parents are strategically keeping the babies safe especially when dad goes to hunt for food. And when Mama Crow is tired of sitting and keeping babies warm the dad takes over. And for a couple of months this has been my favourite pastime. Just watching them grow, nurture and survive. I wanted to share with the community and other bird lovers that in this worldly hassles simple lessons from nature remind us that sometimes tiny moments like this are more fulfilling. It's the first thing I do after I wake up. Just watch the family. I love to feed them. I hope you enjoy the video, I am editing the whole film since they started off. I shot this on my phone

Someone’s Got A Case Of The Mondays

Went to water the babies today (38 degrees Celsius announced) and they brought their fledglings to hang out. So while i was sitting there watching them wet their snacks, an off-the-leash dog i hadn’t noticed snuck up on me and i panicked a bit… jumped up to walk away, and the homies attacked it! They were cawing and diving on the poor thing until it hauled ass out of there. I did feel protected though :) The crows don’t mess around if something threatens them and theirs :)
