Poor car was owned by someone who didn't care about it. needs a new timing chain, hpfp, brake booster, clutch, and throwout bearing is done. Im doing a full interior restoration with a red suede headliner. the front seats are being re done aswell new doors, new hood, new bumper, new radiator support, and probably a million other little things im tired of people throwing these cars away, so I guess ill save it. Oh, btw if you wanna get your headliner back in without creasing it, you gatta remove the windshield :)

Welp my DMF is gone/on its way out and I’m going to pull the engine to do that and the chains as well, so now the “while you’re in there” turbo upgrade is biting at me. Curious how this would pair with the factory DP or if I will need an upgraded DP. Anyone have experience with the hybrid k03 setups

(I’d rather not go k04)

As for mods if your curious / concerned about a turbo upgrade
(Blew engine and trans at 75k and swapped in a 35k engine, currently the drivetrain has like 80k on it now)

Uni stage 1 with stage 2 trans (removed trans tune for last year to save my dmf)

Upgraded dog bone (printed TPU bushings lol)

Whiteline sway bars front and rear

(Need to check timing chain stretch but last time I checked it was .5 degrees and I’m changing them anyways lol)

Car is ready to rock n roll for a stage 2 but I’ve been hesitant with the trans in the state it’s in.

Installed my ecs tuning exhaust today. Full 3” from downpipe back and sounds a lot deeper. Even has dual 3.5” tips. I got the diamond black ones. Gonna have to sell my borla exhaust. Perfect shape just wanted something different.

Just retrofitted a digital cluster kit in my 2015 Volkswagen CC. Has been a headache finding a dash panel around gauges that would actually fit dash and hold trim panel mount behind it. Looks good with about 7 different modes for different displays and reads off the oem mother board to get original miles off it too. Even has an option for both first gen and second gen CC’s for the center display among a bunch of other vws.
