tiehdusb.sys driver blocked by windows.

Hey all! trying to use TI connect CE to update my calculator OS and a few other things, and I keep getting a blocked driver error from windows. I have a TI 84 Plus CE w/ Python. Looking into device manager i get "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)". I tried uninstalling just the driver and letting TI connect boot it back, got a Code 28 which says there is no driver, tried uninstalling and reinstalling ti connect and the same code 39. Is this a common issue? What can i do to fix it?

EDIT: just saw u/TheFInalMillennial posted a few months ago that 5.8.5 OS system nukes my ability to play games and run other programs. I will not be updating the OS, but I still need to figure this out so I can install other programs.

Built an app to finally understand the calculator

Hey everyone,

a while back I posted here about CASify, the app I was building to help students actually understand how the TI-Nspire CAS works. A lot of you joined the waitlist or gave feedback, so I wanted to come back and share that it's finally live.

CASify is now available on the App Store, both as a free Lite version covering the basics, and a Pro version with the full range of topics through Analysis, Stochastics, and Geometry.

For anyone who doesn't know the backstory, I'm a high school student in Germany and built this because I kept watching classmates lose time in exams not because they didn't understand the math, but because they couldn't get the calculator to do what they needed fast enough. CASify walks through every function step by step instead, with real menu paths and examples.

It's availabe in German and English and iOS only, the Android versioin is still on my list. If you're on iOS and want to try it, here are both links or check out my website at casify.website

CASify Pro: https://apps.apple.com/de/app/id6776131288
CASify Lite: https://apps.apple.com/de/app/casify-lite-cas-grundlagen/id6787475078

If anyone tries it, I'd genuinely love to hear what you think, good or bad. Building this alone next to school has been a lot of trial and error, so any feedback helps.

Thanks to everyone, I hope this reaches the right audience

What does that even mean?

(English is not my first language). I tried looking online but there isn't anyone who explains what it means or how to fix it.

How do you get apps back?

I was messing around with my TI 84 plus ce and I was in the memory screen (2nd mem) and I somehow managed to delete all of the apps off my calculator. After a while of troubleshooting I downloaded the app on my windows laptop and when I plug the calc in it blocks the driver. Anything helps!

P.S. the apps I’m talking about are the ones the are under the app button that ship with the device not programs I’ve made.

TI-84 Evo on Ubuntu Linux

I have new TI-84 Evo and a Linux system with Firefox (with an extension for WebUSB). TI's website for connecting to the calculator does not work, and TI84CalcWiz also seems to not work. I was able to use TI84CalcWiz on a Chromebook but that is uncomfortable to use; so, is there a program for Linux to connect to an Evo calculator?

Is it possible to make a version of terraria for the TI-84 Evo model?

The TI-84 is like 3 times faster then the Plus CE, so I was wondering if it would be possible for terraria (or a lite version) to be ported?

CE vs EVO vs Nspire CX II

I'm starting pharmacy school and will obviously be doing a lot of calculations (dosage, etc). I currently have a TI-84+ CE. Would an EVO be any kind of meaningful upgrade? What about the Nspire CX II - is it really that much better?
