Just got offered a 30hr contract under Christmas Temp, start on the 1st of September. what are the chances they will offer a permanent position after the holiday season? Also taking in mind if I do a good enough job and have a good track of attendance. Don’t really mind if this is only temporary will look for another job in advance, just curious if anyone here that was originally a temp got offered a permanent position.
Hi guys, can anyone advise me on what might be going on here? I’ve applied for several retail positions but can’t seem to get past the assessment stage.
I’m confident that I completed the tests correctly. I have a degree in commerce, previous retail experience, and plenty of additional experience in administration and accounting.
Why am I not getting through this stage? It doesn’t make much sense to me. Could I be considered overqualified?

I recently got a call from TK Maxx saying I’ve moved forward with my application for a temporary Christmas job. I’ve already completed my right-to-work check, and today the manager called me and said she’s going to send me my contract and that I need to sign/send it back.
It’s been a little while now and I haven’t received anything yet. Does anyone know how long it usually takes for TK Maxx to send the contract? Does it normally come by email or through an online portal?
I’m probably overthinking it 😂 but I just want to know what’s going on and whether I should be expecting it today or if it can take a few days.

First off I'm 15 and go to school in Europe. My objective is to finish school and go to uni to get a degree in something related to finance real estate and property because it's something I would like to do for the rest of my life. I just need something with good money and something im interested in. Right now though my goal is to make some money. I do't live in a farm I live in a city if y'all want it to be specific I live in a flat. I just can't go another year without making money. I know I should rather stay locked in with my academic stuff and eventually reach my goal with becoming a real estate manager or something but I need a job to make some money to help my family out a bit and for me to stop begging them for stuff I need. Not something like babysitting or helping the neighbors though that just doesn't work in Europe.. How about actual jobs like working in tjx or something even better? For actual jobs I've been spending this summer to finding some jobs and I did find some where everything is perfect but get declined in every single one. I know for a fact its my age but dude im multilingual I speak English, Russian, German, French and some foreign ones too! I play Fortnite and im on Instagram a lot. I've heard about content creation but I can't get monetized in Europe like that and I won't show my face whatsoever. I did do tiktok for a while and did some pretty good views one video reached 6.7m views and the other ones were at like 1m, 200k and stuff spread across different accounts. But I deleted TikTok because it was screwing my brain.. I just want a happy, fulfilled life with ALOT of money. So yea I don't know maybe I should stick to school but if there is anything I could do to make money now as a teen please let me know.
I have my induction day soon (UK), i’m just wondering what it will be like and what to expect, and when i will get my rota because at the moment i only have my induction date. Also what should i wear, is it an all black dress code? And what shoes are acceptable?
So I had an interview a day or two ago and I got an email asking to verify my right to work on goverify and I completed it. On the day of the interview the person who interviewed me also said that I would get a call back by the end of the day or the morning after but I haven’t gotten anything. Should I be worried ?
I have my first shift on tills in 2 days, I done a day training on it and find some things hard. Not saying it’s completely hard but it can be.
Can people give me as many tips as possible for tills, would appreciate it a lot.
