for context, i’m trying to refurbish my arthur by replacing his wheel gear. however, in doing so, i must remove his wheels from his original axel, since i don’t want to risk breaking the gear by pulling it off and it seems pretty stuck on anyway. i noticed that while one wheel comes off very easily, the other does not. i’ve tried tugging and trying to break the axel entirely but it’s to no avail.

does anybody know how to remove it without absolutely destroying the wheel?

I acquired this recently in a box of old Tomy track and I haven't been able to figure out what it is. I've tried looking online but ive had no luck. My only clue is the coupling on the front. It doesn't look like a Thomas character so I'm guessing its based on a real model or just a Tomy original. Lmk if anyone figures it out, thanks.
