Completed my PreCheck Enrollment but still receiving texts

So last time I was going through the airport it was a slow day and the TSA PreCheck folks helped me complete my enrollment.

I could have sworn they said I was all good and finished, but I am still receiving text notifications that "Your TSA PreCheck pre-enrollment is expiring soon".

I thought I was done and already scanned my prints at the kiosk. Was I mistaken?

Edit: I looked it up on Clear and it says my expiration is in 2031. The part I find odd though is that the text notifications seem to be from Clear

Issue with Global entry and TSA Precheck number

I enrolled in tsa precheck many years ago and used it normally. A year later I had applied and received global entry.

During my interview the officer instructed me to not use my old tsa precheck number and to use my new global entry number for tsa precheck.

Since then, every time I try to use my global entry number on my tickets it does not come up as valid for tsa precheck. Instead I just use my old tsa precheck number.

Does anyone have a similar experience or advice? My concern is that when my older tsa precheck expires I won’t be able to use any precheck benefits.

TSA PreCheck + Singapore Airlines booking (no middle name field) — will it still work?

Hi everyone,
I have a TSA PreCheck KTN added to my reservation on Singapore Airlines, but I’m seeing a bit of confusion about name matching and wanted to sanity check this. On my passport, I have a middle name included in the “Given Names” field. However, when booking with Singapore Airlines, there is no separate middle name field on the website. It only allows:

First / Given name
Last / Family name

So my booking is showing as First + Last only, while my passport includes a middle name.

My questions:

  1. Will TSA PreCheck still reliably show up on the boarding pass in this case?
  2. Or does the absence of the middle name in the reservation commonly prevent the PreCheck indicator from attaching?

Has anyone flown Singapore Airlines specifically with this setup and still gotten PreCheck without issues?
I’ve read mixed things, but since SQ doesn’t even provide a middle name field during booking, I’m wondering how strict TSA matching is in this scenario.
Thanks in advance.

PreCheck vs Standard Screening Line

At DCA Terminal 1 yesterday. Yes, sometimes the PreCheck lines are comparable to standard screening (or even a bit longer) but when it pays off it pays off big time

No more bins for Precheck in some locations?

I flew United out of EWR and returned back through MCO this week, and in both cases for the Precheck line, there were no more bins. Leave everything in the bags and place on the conveyer. It was kind of surprising, but in a good way. I don't fly every week, is this a new change?

TSA PreCheck Timeline

Enrolled May 6, approved June 26

51 days, through Telos. I sent one email around day 35, got a canned response about how it can take up to 60 days.

Just sharing my experience

Does Clear matter?

So I have Clear (admittedly free, via credit card and airline employee discount), but the last few times I’ve gone through they scan my face, then walk me over to TSA who then scans my face again. I’m already registered for TSA Touchless ID so I can’t help but feeling this is redundant and I’d save time just skipping Clear and going straight to Touchless. Am I missing something? What benefit does Clear provide in this circumstance?

Best renewal provider?

We are due to renew within a couple of months. This will be our second online renewal. Which provider is the best to go through? Idemia, Clear or Telos? I don’t recall that many options when I renewed last time, so looking for opinions. TIA!
