Making a streetwear graphic inspired by the Undercover cassette tee. I am trying to do a 1950s painted schoolboy skating over a grayscale DJ controller sketch. Assets are ready but the two styles clash when composited. Looking for tips on blending them cohesively with color grading and grain. References attached. I have looked online and have not been able to find anything, please help. Thanks

what is actually the hardest part when you try to find a manufacturer?

I’ve been noticing something weird with small clothing brands and I’m trying to figure out if it’s just me seeing this or if it’s actually a pattern.

A lot of new brands don’t fail because of bad designs. They get stuck in this loop where nothing moves for weeks or months. Sampling takes forever, factories stop replying, MOQs are unrealistic, or they just get treated like they don’t matter.

What’s worse is most of them don’t even realize how much time they’re losing until they’re already burnt out.

I’m saying this because I’ve been on both sides. I tried building a brand before, and now I’m on the manufacturing side. The difference in how small brands vs big clients get treated is honestly kind of wild.

Out of curiosity, for those of you who’ve worked with manufacturers already

what was the most frustrating part of the whole process?

Also, if anyone’s early stage and just confused about how sampling, fabric sourcing, or MOQs actually work, I don’t mind breaking it down. Not trying to sell anything here, just feels like a lot of people get stuck on the same avoidable problems.

I have been making football jerseys for about a week now (in need of feedback)

I have been making football jerseys for a little over a week using a phone app called ibispaint x, I never made designing stuff before but I do know some things from watching football.

also I use Ai to make the shirt on the maniquin but the design and details are made by me so Ai could make some stuff look a little weird or off.

SNARLY YOW T-Shirt I designed-ruindance

I run an online clothing brand called Raindance(Ignore the typo in the title), and one of the things I like to do is design shirts that represent and appreciate the weird, so cryptids are one of my favorite design subjects. The latest one I designed was this one featuring the Snarly Yow! It is one of the lesser known cryptids, but I still find it interesting, and I had fun drawing it. If you want a shirt featuring the mysterious Smoky-Black dog for yourself(or if you have any questions or whatever), check it out here https://raindanceclothing.com/store-1/snarly-yow-tee

Suggestions for good Tshirts

I am so tired to scrolling over different shopping apps only to find a Tshirt that is not cropped or transparent or purely synthetic or too oversized.

I am just looking for good material, opaque Tshirts (₹300 is my budget per tshirt), without wrinkles and that which are not either crop or oversized.

Why is it so hard to find a perfect fit Tee, I am so frustrated at this apparel market.

Note: I am a size L.

Custom Tshirt makers are welcome, please DM your website or catalog links.

I have a design I want to make available to members. I am looking for a custom t-shirt website that I can upload it to & have them go there to pick whatever merchandise they want it on. Is there any sites that would allow a "portal" like that?

What Do You Think?

Is it too much? Too little? Do I need to adjust anything with the design? Are the D4s too little to notice or are they just right? Please let me know with constructive criticism. Thank you for your time. Excelsior.

SPEED KING T-SHIRT!!

Im back from the break I took and I am back to designing for my online Brand Raindance again! Check out this brand new shirt I designed-inspired by one of my favorite stands-Speed King! I loved Reading jojolion-the story and characters immediately captivated me, and I loved the unique abilities and characters. Jobin especially, so I had a lot of fun drawing both sides of this design. On the front is the beetle he used in the fight, and the back shows a detailed image and description of Speed king itself. If you're interested you can check it out here https://raindanceclothing.com/store-1/speed-king-tee

Why are most men t-shirt designer still so lazy??

I don't understand why men's T-shirt are going on designing same thing on everything while there are many designers out their, just imagine you see many shirts with same fonts, same boring quotes, same safe graphics. Why does everyone just accept this? seriously, is this the best we can do?

I started to designing my own shirt recently because I was tired of buying things that don’t even feel personal. I thought maybe I was the problem, maybe I just wasn’t looking well. But no. After checking multiple stores, scrolling for hours, it’s still the same recycled ideas over and over again. And then when you finally see something different, it’s either crazy expensive or the quality is bad. I even tried looking at suppliers online, even saw some options on Alibaba. Some designs looked fresh, I won’t lie, but then you read reviews and people are saying prints fade after two washes. So what’s the point?

Why are we stuck between boring designs and bad quality? Why is it so hard to get both right?

And then we wonder why small designers struggle. Everyone wants better and different designs on there shirts, but the system keeps repeating the same low effort design again and again.

Thier should be room for creativity and nobody is really pushing it.
