How easily can you get games in TTS?

So I'm relatively new to the game and have 0 background in tabeltop gaming. I like the idea of playing and want to play more, but most of the time when I ask for a game in my LGS's Discord no one answers me. I have played 7 games and have won 2 of them, I cant get better if I can't play. I feel like this leaves me with TTS being my only way to really play more than once a month. But that opens another question. I've never really messed around with TTS, so how do you get games? Is there a server browser and you just look for people playing 40K? Can you set up games against bots?

LF very casual learning games

I have the very base elements of the game fairly well down, such as movement and phases, but that’s about where it stops. I really really want to get into the game more but I’m horribly intimidated to ruin a more experienced person’s game because I have to ask about what type of cover I have and the interactions of subtexts. Am also unsure of exactly which group I’d like to play, though I have a few ideas in mind.

If someone is very patient and wants to do random skirmish-type stuff, that’d be awesome. Bonus points if you want to play regularly.

Looking for Beginner-Friendly WH40k Games on TTS

Hey everyone,

would anyone be up for a game sometime? I’m still a complete beginner and would really appreciate someone with a bit of experience showing me the ropes and helping me get more comfortable with the game over TTS.

I already know the basic rules, but I’ve never actually played a proper full match before - only a few small 500 vs 500 point games with my girlfriend, since that’s all we currently own in real life. Because of that, we also skipped some mechanics like reserves, as they probably don’t make too much sense at that point level anyway haha.

So I’m mainly looking for someone chill who wouldn’t mind explaining things a bit while we play. That said, I’d also be totally happy to play with other newer players so we can all learn the game together :)

Starting a new Armageddon crusade! Looking for some players before kicking things off.

I'll be running with the Armageddon crusade book rules, primarily. There's a potential for things to continue on, either with a 'new game plus', or with a new Crusade mission pack.

The current rules limit Epic Heroes (though don't disallow them entirely) and Titanic models (in the early stages of the Crusade), and enforce specific Alliances depending on the Crusade Roster, as well as disallowing overlap where it would be a bit strange (No Orks in a roster with T'au), but it allows for Imperium and Chaos factions to 'soup' in their Rosters. And yes, even Tyranids can work with GSC.

There's also a mandated battle size for each phase of the Crusade, starting with Incursion, and moving on to Onslaught towards the end of the campaign. Depending on the interest, I may work something out for Boarding Actions, as well, since every Alliance (in theory) should be able to play them.
