We’re developing a desktop virtual pet game, and one of the features I especially wanted to include was the ability to open the device’s back cover and replace the batteries.

It’s a very small detail, but I think these kinds of small interactions make the device feel much more realistic.

There are still many things we want to improve 👾

I am planning to conduct some experiments across the three “versions” of Tamagotchi Paradises - the old ones (specifically “Purple Sky”), the middle child (Jade Forest), and the “new” devices (specifically Orange Tropics). I want to test secret characters, how different versions connect, how and if items can transfer between, etc.

What would you guys like to know or want me to experiment with in regard to these three devices? :)

Found the new ones in my local Walmart! Gonna put my other four to sleep for a bit so I can enjoy the new ones fully. So excited!

Breed with Original mametchi and mongatchi and had a white mametchi eye baby - decided to raise white mametchi and mongatchi eye I wanna raise it to meowtchi !! I saw the post about it and I had to have her !! Thinking of making meowtchi village in land field 🤣

We’re developing a fun virtual pet desktop game where you can raise your pet, set up a small farm, work at various jobs, and decorate your home.

Right now, I’m stuck on a very minor design detail.

I can’t decide whether to use a short chain or a long chain for the keychain charm. The charm itself isn’t finalized yet; there will be different charm designs as well.

I’ve added a short video so you can see what it looks like.

Been feeding him northern seafood and salmon roe? (Can’t remember as I eat what I had but it’s definitely a fish type of food), I’m so excited to see what he will become 😍

Colors:
Blue (Be Vivid Potion / Be Blue Potion)
Hot Pink (Be Vivid Potion)
Green (Be Vivid Potion / Be Green Potion)
Lavender (Be Pastel Potion / Be Purple Potion)

To get a Papillotchi in Tamagotchi Paradise, raise a Sky Kid character in the Sky Field. Feed it items like flower syrup and honey. This will evolve it into a yellow caterpillar, which then grows into the butterfly-like Adult Papillotchi with zero care mistakes.

Care & Evolution Guide:

Base Requirement: Papillotchi is part of the Flutter Species and requires zero care misses.

Acquisition: Feed your Sky Kid primarily honey and flower syrup to trigger the yellow caterpillar intermediary.

Stats: Their hunger decreases every 60 minutes, happiness every 80 minutes, and they have a 35% chance of getting sick if they suffer a care miss.

Special Effects: You can temporarily give your Papillotchi a fun sparkling effect by buying a sparkly drink at the in-game shop.
