So, it’s been more than 4 months since I got my OL, and I still haven’t received my JL.
I know many people will say, “I’ve been waiting for 6–7 months too.” But being an on-campus candidate is different. You usually have to complete your B.Tech first, so the waiting period is counted differently.
In my case, I received my OL right after completing my B.Tech.

After so many failures, getting placed in TCS felt like a huge achievement. I was genuinely happy for a while.
But eventually, I realized I couldn’t keep waiting indefinitely for a joining letter that might not arrive anytime soon.
At this point, I’m tired of waiting, and I no longer expect my JL to arrive any time soon.
So, I’m looking for new opportunities.

I am writing regarding a pending issue with my Background Verification (BGC) document approval.

While my other documents have been approved, my ID proof (PAN Card) and E-Aadhar still show a pending status. The 'Submit BGC Documents' option has been re-enabled, but there is no option to re-upload the PAN Card or E-Aadhar if changes are needed. I have verified these documents and confirmed they contain no mistakes.

My onboarding is scheduled for September 7, 2026, and the deadline to submit Set 1 and Set 2 documents is August 21, 2026. Given the upcoming deadline, should I click the 'Submit BGC Documents' option to resubmit the existing documents, or should I wait for the pending approvals?

Kindly provide guidance on how I should proceed.

Recently attended a walkin at Tcs and got selected and offer letter is released, and i've uploaded all the documents for the BGC

Now my issue here is I have worked in 5 different companies before, in that last 3 I have proper PF documents, but the 1st 2 are small startup and mechanical company so there is no PF history but I have experience/ relieving letter that I have uploaded in the portal as well

Will this create any problem with my BGC? Thanks for your help

I need some guidance from people who have gone through the TCS joining/reschedule process.

I received my TCS ILP/onboarding date as 24 August 2026. However, I am currently serving my notice period with my present employer, so I submitted a reschedule request through the TCS portal and also contacted the Xplore/ILP Support Team.

The support team acknowledged my reschedule request and I had mentioned that I would be available from 25 September 2026 onwards.

Today, I unexpectedly received another physical onboarding/induction mail for 24 August with reporting details and document requirements.

Now I'm confused about what I should do.

Should I:

1. Ignore the 24 August induction mail since my reschedule request was already acknowledged?
2. Reply to the same reschedule email and ask them to confirm again?
3. Is this a normal/automated mail that candidates receive even after requesting rescheduling?

If anyone has gone through the same situation, especially candidates who successfully rescheduled their TCS joining due to notice period, please share what happened in your case.

I don't want to accidentally miss anything or risk my offer by assuming the reschedule is already processed.

Any guidance would be really appreciated. 🙏

I received my TCS Offer Letter in June and accepted it, but I submitted/initiated my BGC documents about 2 months later.

The offer letter says to initiate the BGC “as soon as the offer letter is accepted,” but it also says the 120-day period is counted from the date BGC is initiated online.

My BGC is currently showing Approval Pending.

Will this 2-month delay affect or delay my Joining Letter (JL)? Has anyone been in a similar situation?
