6 sessions in. I was hoping it would be gone by now but pleased with the progress. It was only a few months old. Skin is completely flat with no scarring!

Hello! Coming here with a question. I just had my first session yesterday, and now, after 24hrs i took off the plasters, as clinic recommended. This is what it looks like. I have looked through this subreddit and could not find a similar image of so many small dots being there. Is this normal? For more info, the tattoo is a sentence, with letters being around 1cm tall, it seems like the technician joust went straight through the sentence, in a straight line, including non-tattooed skin? From the videos/photos ive seen it looked like to me that the laser is somehow just targeting the inked places very precisely? Or am i wrong and overthinking? Thank you for the answers in advance.

Okay so I’m now 2.5 years in and have had 13 sessions
First picture is at the beginning -2.5 years ago
Second picture - 1 year ago
Third picture was taken 2 weeks ago and this was about 4 days after my 13th session

The fourth picture is actually my neck tattoo which I started January this year and I’ve had 4 sessions on that just to give an idea

The 5th one is my wrist tattoo is practically gone which I started at the same time as my leg

I think its all down to placement at this point but haven’t stopped my massages on my leg cause I do think they help (literally just one of those devices made for cellulite, it like sucks your skin in and heats up but I just use them on my tattoo for about 10-15 min while watching a show)

I hope it gives people some confidence and motivation but equally I get complacent and wonder if my leg tattoo could be moving along quicker as at this point idk if more time in between sessions helps or not for me anyways

I’ve been using trans binding tape instead of TK tape to cover from the sun/hide a very dense black tattoo when I want.

It’s a lot wider than standard KT tape and is better on the skin in my experience. Also comes in wayyy more shades and is basically invisible unless you’re really close/looking for it.

Cons of rib tattoo removal: hurts like heck, bruises and welts pretty badly. Feels like I got kicked in the ribs for approx 2 weeks after 😳 Pros: Tattoos this close to your heart fade crazy fast! Im feeling pretty confident this will be gone within 10 total, maybe even a couple less 😏

I’m so happy with the progress just 3 sessions in 8 weeks apart with Cutera Enlighten! I’m simultaneously getting an arm tattoo removed just need to find a comparable original picture.

I'm hoping for some guidance / advice. I've been working on removing this super colorful traditional tattoo for 4 years. I have quite a bit of oxidization (I think) and I'm getting discouraged.
Would love any guidance or advice on next steps.
I recognize a complete removal is unlikely, but I'm hoping to get it as close to it as possible. Here's my treatments:

I’ve spent so much money (paying per session). I’m considering driving two hours to a new clinic (Removery) so I can pay for an unlimited package and go more frequently. Any experience with oxidization removal or similar tattoos?

I was so nervous but the whole experience with them from the initial phone consultation with Jeff all the way to the actual session. The pain was much more tolerable than I was imagining- and I did put numbing cream on like 45 minutes before my appointment. Between that and the icing we did right before the laser- I can easily say I am not scared to continue sessions and I'm really looking forward to going back in 10ish weeks. I already see some awesome fading, especially around the green in the leaves of my neck tattoo- but I know it will take me at least a year until I can cover my neck with makeup fully which is my first goal. Overall- so excited and happy I chose Inkless to do this with.

Hi guys, I got this tattoo almost 7 years ago and have regretted it ever since. I’ve been looking into tattoo removal, but after seeing people‘s results of discoloration in their skin or white marks, kinda leaves me a little skeptical of getting it removed. My tattoo is slightly raised and has blown out. Has anyone on here ever achieved complete removal?

Has anyone had blisters caused by using an ice pack after tattoo removal? I don’t know if this is just a coincidence or not but I am removing tattoos all over my arms and all of them are fine except for the spots I iced after removal. Large blisters popped up the next morning after removal on the few areas I iced.

I have had ten sessions on a ~5 year old half dollar sized ankle tattoo. I have my next session tomorrow and the nurse is able to do “turbo mode” since she’s cranked the machine to the highest setting. I have been getting it removed for over a year now. Is it realistic for it to be removed or unnoticeable in a year from now? Is it normal for the ink to be splotchy and fading unevenly?

I’m super sick of it. It was a heavily saturated tattoo as I got it touched up once in an attempt to like it more.

The before picture attached isn’t very good but I don’t have any other pictures. It was taken after my first or second session.

This is my tattoo 8 weeks after my first appointment at Removery. I feel encouraged by the progress, especially taking into account that this is a cover up that was done twice (color faded a lot the first time).
