I’m obsessed with whales and am seeking fine-line/photorealistic artists to continue my stack of specific species, which each have small morphological differences.
Does anyone have any recommendations for high-accuracy artists that fit this bill? Would love to see photos if you also have a whale/other marine animals!

What's the deal with tipping for large pieces? 2 session sleeve, $2400. My last artist who did a sleeve said I didn't have to tip, award winning artist, he just took that money to do another few hours that he needed the next day. Im getting my other sleeve from another artist. So what's actually the etiquette with large pieces like this?

I have a few tattoos from Robin, but it’s obviously not the easiest trip every time i want another piece, so i’m hoping to find someone with a similar style here.
I’m not sure how to describe it but it’s not quite “woodcut” or “engraving” - a lot of those artists have a looser, sketchier style, whereas his work feels more clean, structured and almost architectural. really controlled linework and hatching, lots of medieval/heraldic imagery. Is neo-engraving a thing?
