Mag feeding issues.

Im running a texas triggers pice. Having mag feeding issues on both the standard and factory extended mags also the promag extended. Ive lubed them with drylube. They only seem to want to run about 7-8 rounds any more the shells stop and dont slide all the way up to the top of the mag to feed in. Ive added weight and dont have stove pipes anymore runs the 7-8 rounds just fine just cant get my mags to feed. Any tip or tricks you have would be appreciated.

Has anybody tried these optic shields? My Dead Air Mask arrives in about a week and I’m wondering if I should go ahead and order one now.

Running it w/ a can

what do i need to run it suppressed, without issues? a slide/striker that's heavier, correct? i can't seem to find any. i see people selling 3D-printed ones... but that won't be heavy.

Taurus TX22 TORO

I purchased at TX22 TORO today, and would like to put a frt (freedom finger trigger) on it. I would also like to get a suppressor, optic and wrap for the grip. Are there any other must haves for this gun? Where is the best place to get additional magazines? I appreciate your help

Anyone have personal experience with these specific mags?

ProMag mags for other platforms have never worked well for me before, but, I have not used the ones for the TX22.

Before I preemptively give up on them. Do any of you have any personal experience with these?

We all gave Taurus a chance with the TX22; I'm wondering if I should give ProMag a chance.

New tx22 toro. Will be using for steel challenge matches. Ordered a Tandem Cross trigger & spring. Looking forward to trying it out.

No regrets

Long story short, before you guys call me dumb I've done months of research before making this decision and I saw the potential and possibility of it being harder to find if I continue to procrastinate. Plus the internet hype and the overall appeal. Im stalling. I traded my used PSA Dagger Compact for a brand new TX22. I'm part of the club now 😆

In stock at RANGE USA

Local pick up only but it looks like they got locations nationwide.

Use the promo code RANGEUSA10 for 10% off and when you go pick up, they also give you 10% off on ammo and accessories in store.

Just picked mine up this afternoon

Diamond in the haystack

What’s up everyone, yesterday was a wild day. My buddy and I literally called every gun store we could find in Arizona/the Valley. Easily 100+ stores and probably 5 straight hours of dialing.

I was about ready to give up when one store finally answered and said they had ONE Taurus TX22 in stock. I drove an hour immediately to go grab it and honestly felt lucky after putting that much time and energy into finding this damn gun lmao.

No joke, almost every store would laugh and say “nope” before I could even finish asking if they had a TX22. Huge respect to all the gun stores though because even when they didn’t have one, most of them still gave advice on where to check or how to maybe get my hands on one.

These things are so out of stock it’s insane. A bunch of stores told me they’re on backorder for months and people are putting down $100 deposits without even knowing when the next shipment will come in. Some stores said if they do get a batch, they’re usually sold out within an hour mostly to people that already happen to be shopping in the store. Pretty bizarre honestly.

But it gets even crazier. While I’m driving home with my FIRST TX22, another store I had called earlier rings me up and says, “Hey, we just got one in stock 15 minutes ago.”

So now I’ve got a decision to make. Do I go grab a second one or not?

After thinking about how impossible these things are to find, I decided to send it. Got there 30 minutes before closing, filled out the paperwork, and walked out with my second TX22.

Wild day to say the least. Grateful I was able to get my hands on them. Sometimes it really just takes grit and pushing through the discouragement.

Happy to be apart of the community 🤙🏽

Compact worth it?

I think I like the idea of the gen 2 tx22 compact, just wondering how compatible it is with mods and suppressors? From my understanding, the compact version needs an adapter to mount a suppressor. Is the compact worth it, or go for a different model?

Finally added one to the line up!

Been focusing my buying more on nfa items with the cost savings but with taurus prices getting ridiculous i had to let the tx22 skip the line. (Mostly because i found a new silencerco micro osprey that would look good on it when it gets approved )

.22lr is my most favorite so this will be right at home.

Local FFL/SOT sent me a text at 430am saying discontinued...

There's no way Taurus would discontinue their cash cow? Right? I have a Tx22 TORO od green frame from when they first came out but wanted to get a compact at some point. Great 22LR pistol, for many reasons. I shoot mine 90% of the time suppressed and haven't cleaned it in ages. Haven't had any issues so far.

3-D printed frames or chassis?

Long story short, I crack my frame and we all know how hard it is to find a TX 22 at the moment do you know if anybody’s selling 3d printed frames or whole chassis systems anywhere online? I don’t have a 3-D printer I honestly don’t know where to even get one commissioned if someone would do that.
