so ill prolly be joining the IoT (or higher through ILS or management lol) branch and i wanted to know abt any tips before college on how to just, maintain a better score in college just from day 1, help :(

I scored 8.86 in sem 1, and in sem 2 I've got 7.19 just got the result, how will it affect me in placements?? What do I have to do now?? Will they kick me out of the incampus placements?? Since I've got less than 7.38 pointer?? What problems will i face now? Please help with whatever info you can give, it's highly appreciated.

I have just started 2nd year in Tcet and I was not a part of any clubs/committees during the first year and as we need to complete 400 hours during engineering for credits or aicte points, I have only 3 years with no points so how can I join a committee to get these credits and all I am seeing is that these clubs are only taking people for core positions but I won't get any core positions as I have no experience or any achievements that could get me in core so what should be my next step?
