So nag scroll ako sa TikTok at naalala ko ulit na notorious ang Samsung sa mga green line issues 😐😐😐, meron pa naman akong Galaxy A54 since 2023. Wala namang green lines ang phone ko so far and hindi ko talaga ito ginagamit pag nag chacharge para hindi mag overheat kasi overheating daw ang cause ng green lines ni Samsung based sa mga nababasa ko. Wanna know your insights on this guys..

Timeline:

June 22 - nagbrowse lang ako randomly sa website nila and nakita ko bigla may 15 pro with applewatch na free, excellent condition (nakalagay na apple series watch 4 and up so inexpect mo series 4 ang dadating). I dont care about the watch but i still ordered it around 3:30pm

Kinagabihan, nag email sila na nanghingi ng valid ID and screenshot ng payment method and selfie

June 23 - confirmed and sabi i ship na nila nung afternoon

Then nagbigay na sila ng LBC tracking number pero di pa sya natatrack (nasa email din naman nila na normal yun)

June 24 - no updates kahit isa. Chinecheck ko lang tracking number

June 25 - chineck ko pagkagising and na track na sya. Im from Batangas so inexpect ko mga 4-5 days

Then nung tanghali pagcheck biglang nakalagay "will be delivered within the day" so nagulat ako kasi ambilis

3pm delivered na.

Checked lahat and "excellent" condition is ok na ok (may onting scratches sa screen na nakikita lang pag inilawan).

Yung applewatch na dumating is Applewatch series 9 excellent condition din bh is 88%. Wala akong pakielam sa watch so sold it for 6.5k so parang nakuha ko lang din yung 15 pro ng 24.5k

Very excellent experience ko sa kanila though yung mga nababasa ko na may mga issues is mga samsung units nila.

Background: I’m very much aware of how both operating systems work. My first ever phone was a Samsung, had years of other brands, went almost 5 years of using my first iPhone which was the 11, went back to Samsung with their S23, and now back to iPhone with their 17.

“Why upgrade from S23 to 17? Why not S26?”. Well as u can see, I have 2 green lines. In our hot climate, A brand prone to these issues gives me anxiety.

“Why not other android brands?”. Prices have been hiking up and honestly, android flagships these days are getting close, if not priced higher compared to the base 17. If we’re talking about longevity, I think Apple has always been superior and retains its value longer. Also, OneUI is the only android OS that can go against iOS’ optimization and fluidity while being very much customizable and with added software features which iOS just doesnt have. But again, green lines give me anxiety, so iPhone it is.

Honestly, I do miss OneUI. I’ll say it again, Samsung’s OneUI is the best OS for any smartphone. Its like having both an Android and iPhone combined into one. I miss so much of it, that I still cant get rid of my S23 and keep using it from time to time. Unfortunately, living in the Philippines is a threat to their devices. The phone heating up would just make you nervous thinking it might pop up lightsabers.

Conclusion: iPhone is still king of optimization, fluidity, longevity, raw power, and video capabilities. If you dont give a sh*t about any other thing, get it. But if you want the best Android experience on a phone, Samsung is the best way to go (As long as you keep it on a lower temperature.)

Local shop did a discount on this two variants of Loq 15; IRX9 and ARP9.

I'm a little techy guy, so I have little knowledge about the efficiency between 13450 and 7 7435hs and their max heat output, considering the ram increase the IRx9 only has 8gb (I'm planning on upgrading to 16gb) while the ARP9 has already 12gb (Which i have the possibility to sell). Performance wise, is it really worth it for the Amd considering its an older Zen 3 chip and slightly less raw performance.
