If you check my most recent posts, there was a situation in which I made a post sheading light on the large amount of pdfs on tiktok

In response, a man commented, switching the topic to his defense on incest

He went on to defend it, saying it wasn't morally incorrect. This entire time (after posting about the situation) people of the sub defend him. Even tossing in why they agree with him. To the point of saying "incest isn't wrong" and "you gotta have a open mind"

And when I post, essentially out of anger and shock, their only response is "you got cooked" "I didn't argue back" or "he's right"

I'll admit I was childish. But we shouldn't have to argue about basic human morality.

Thousands of people are affected by sa, incest, grooming, etc, every day. And people on a subreddit made to be a safe place, defend it.

I never realized how bad r/teenagers was...until now

This is insanity

so my girlfriend has to do this summer camp thing for a whole week where she cant have her phone for the whole week so I cant talk to her at all (we are ldr too so) and I genuinely dont know what to do because shes really the only person who talks to me really ever. I am going to a summer camp myself but its only a portion of the day and nobody really tries to talk to me there

im already kinda a certain way even when its just shes busy for a few hours like im genuinely so insanely idk obsessed and she is literally the only reason my mental health isn't as horrible as it was before (it's still horrible but not as horrible) i guess so my fear is that my mental health will deteriorate further than it is now and maybe even worse than ever before, none of my other friends talk to me nearly as much as they should

What I mean by people wouldn’t immediately guess is, for example: I’m Mexican, and one of my favourite foods IS tacos, but since that’s kind-of a given, one of my favourites that people don’t guess instantly is actually rice with kimchi and soy sauce, with a side of Asian cucumber salad!!! 😋

I have now, for several occasions, reported accs on Instagram that are explicit, in was that are harmful to children, like accs that have OF links in the stories, or do the picture flash that for a single frame show a risqué image, or have reels that tell them to not look at reposts or to look at thier of links
