Recently a person got hold of my photos and I got blackmailed into sending more I blocked him wrote an email with screenshots to abuse abuse@telegram.org i dont have his mobile number just his user ID

i wrote mail twice now its been days i havent got a reply nor do i see his account gone everyday i see him online scared that he might use my pic as currency

should i wait more

I’ve seen plenty of people—my own mom, for instance—who can post Stories without having Premium, yet whenever I try to post one, it tells me I need Premium. Is there a solution to this problem?

Scammers often tend to have premium so the "nobody and premium can send me messages" feature doesn't save me from these annoying idiots. Also, apparently, if these idiots make a scam story, where they mention me, I would get a notification. Can I disable this?

hello! so i know this guy, and he has this thing called a "self". one of the things he can do with it, is delete other peoples account right then and there. I've literally seen him do it infront of my own eyes. so i just recently got in beef with him, and i was wondering, could he actually delete my account with that method? if so, is there anything i can do to prevent this?

Hello, i have never used a secret chat before, so i have a question. If you share videos or images through a secret chat, can you set it so that they dont self destruct and whoever receives the media can always revisit?

My Telegram channel is set to public, but the only way people can join is if I send them the invite link.
I even tried making brand new, completely empty channels and chats to test it, but none of them show up in the global search either.
What am I doing wrong?

TLDR My wife deleted our message history by accident (maybe it was a kid while playing with phone). It contained 6 years of our communication since we met, got married and so on. Is it possible to recover any data? Messages at least. I have saved tdata folder which is dated 29.06 and there is lots of info there and files, but i cannot find any decryption tool to restore at least anything. Data on my android i think secured too, because i cannot find any python or other related open-source app to recover it..

Any advice? Or it just vanished forever? I heard you can pay to message Durov for money and sometimes he answers back. Is it just rumors or there is a probability of a success?

I don't know if reporting this will lead to any action, but Telegram's search function is now full of inappropriate material (basically, porn)

I know they switched APIs because of the Tenor issue, but this is curious, to say the least; if you want to check for yourself, try searching for "Furry," for example

I've read that there are worse things, like illegal content, although I haven't come across that myself

Or is there some kind of secret or relatively unknown work around?

I was wondering if anyone has experienced this before or knows what's going on.

I had a contact on Telegram that I know had an account because I could see their last seen status. They weren't very active (sometimes their last seen would be a couple of days ago), but I know they were definitely using Telegram. They even viewed one of my Stories/Status once.

I recently deleted my own Telegram account so I could reinstall it and start fresh. After creating my account again, that same contact now shows as if they don't have a Telegram account at all. I've already synced my contacts, but it still says they're not on Telegram.

The strange thing is that this has actually happened before. At one point Telegram showed that this number wasn't on Telegram, then later it started showing the account again with a last seen, so I'm confused why it's disappeared again.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a Telegram sync issue, a privacy setting, or could it mean they deleted their account? Any ideas would be appreciated.

A chat window takes 30 seconds to open. Uploads and downloads are dead slow. Any one else facing this issue?

I used to be able to search and find gifs pretty easily. Now all the gifs are weird Russian text or porn.

The best example I used recently is when I search for "Fall to knees" I would find the Walter White gif of him falling to his knees now its just walls of Russian text and the Walter White gif doesn't even come up.

So yesterday night a person called me at 3 am and it kinda makes me nervous to know who he is, he called like three times and called my name i was wondering if there’s a way for me to know their phone number by using a method or something
