I have not played Pokemon Sun and Moon but I see her being praised and the cast of S&M to be top tier

I played Pokemon Crystal then straight to Pokemon Sword, then Scarlet

So my experience on supporting characters in the games are only for the recent ones which I really like

I will admit that part of the appeal of the S&M games to me which is why I want to try them is due to the whole area being Hawaii like so the setting involved a lot of swimsuits which results in really creative designs like Lana and Mallow

Edit : my own opinion on this matter is that Lana's design is what makes her so popular + personality
