How do supports work?
I'm trying to mind a 3x3 tunnel, placing support at every other block on the sides of the tunnel, what am I doing wrong?

What's the strategy to find minerals , for example, I want iron , i just have to walk on a straight line until i find some piece of hematite and that's it? Another day I walked for hours and couldn't find what I wanted
Would anyone be able to summarise the core differences between these two packs? I've got to steam in Gravitas before, and played ATFC after IlMango played it. There seems to be a real leaning on here for TFG, and also on youtube LPs, but I haven't really been able to find a good post explaining why this is.
Much appreciated
So i started a world with a custom tfc pack with a friend of mine and we just settled down, what tips do you guys have for our future base? Be it features, specific materials, or just overall tips related to building and gameplay
Mined out a whole vein of Hematite, and after quite some work, it yielded almost three stacks of wrought iron ingots. I can't say I want to do this again, but I should be set on iron at least for a while.
Recently (couple of days ago) started out, never played the mod before. Just finished up my first winter and planted these radishes (all at the same time). The ones on the right are now up to 60% grown, whilst the ones on the left are 0% grown - what's going on and how do I fix it?
Modpack: Terrafirmagreg-Modern
The title is self-explaining, there are mods (like mouse tweaks and sophisticated inventory interactions) that help sort out your inventory (and chests) quite quickly. In TFC however, these mods do not work for TFC chests (and to a less annoying degree, vessels, but that's just asking too much on my end), so I was wondering: are there any mods for TFC that give a similar function?
TLDR: Mods for TFC to automatically sort out chest inventories
TF:Civ uses the modpack Sulidae for its core, with a additional modifications to create a custom and server-orientated experience. Sulidae seamlessly joins TerraFirmaCraft and Create – bringing the best features of both together and even introducing new mechanics to bridge the gap in certain areas. The modpack ensures no content overlaps with each other, making each mod unique and feel integral to the whole experience.
Our changes to it mostly center around setting it up for use on the TerraFirmaCivillizations server. This includes the adding of Corpse mod, Revive, and other mods aiming to bring an authentic Civilization experience.
Additionally added are many new structures for players to explore.
The server also feature many custom kubejs systems, including...
These system aim to push for more player interaction, and specialization. Fertility and Mantle vents will make important strategic resources around them.
For the last several months, I have been making modpacks quickly, mostly to learn new systems, test ideas, and build experiences for other people.
Createch 2 is where all of those experiments finally came together.
Every project left behind something worth keeping: TerraFirmaCraft survival, visible Create factories, long industrial progression, trains and remote outposts, dangerous exploration, magic that feels discovered, spaceflight, and endgame projects that feel larger than another line of machines.
Instead of turning those ideas into yet another separate pack, they were combined into one world.
Createch 2 now begins with survival and primitive metallurgy, then grows into mechanical workshops, rail-fed industry, oil and steel production, electrical grids, chemical plants, nuclear engineering, space programs, Stargates, and eventually civilization-scale megastructures.
The goal is not to throw hundreds of mods together and call it progression. Each major system is being given a role, and every age is meant to feel like a natural expansion of what came before it.
Getting there was messy.
The pack changed aggressively while its identity was still being figured out. Recipes moved, world generation changed, progression was rebuilt, and some existing worlds were affected along the way. Some players lost time or had worlds damaged because of those decisions, and I am genuinely sorry for that.
That phase is over.
Createch 2 has finally become the pack all of those earlier projects were unknowingly building toward, and future development is being handled with a forever-world mentality.
Updates should expand an existing world instead of making it disposable. New industries should connect to old infrastructure. New dimensions should give railways, factories, power systems, and logistics networks somewhere new to reach. Early workshops should become landmarks instead of things that need to be erased.
The first shelter should still exist when the player reaches space. Old rail lines and abandoned outposts should remain as evidence of earlier ages. The world should be able to grow for hundreds of hours without losing the history that made it worth continuing.
Createch 2 is no longer trying to become something.
It finally knows what it is.
As the title says I've had an incredibly hard time trying to find kaolinite. I've literally travelled thousands of blocks and made sure to look in the correct biomes and have yet to find even one vein. Am I doing something wrong or is it really this hard to obtain.
Update: after probably 8 hours I finally found some after literally travelling to a different continent.
I have a field of like 20 garlic that haven't been over -20 degrees in like an in-game month and not a single one of them have died. I had rye next to it that died after only like a few days of <-10 degrees.
Edit: When I logged back into the world all the crops were finally dead. I had been standing basically AFK next to them for most of that month so maybe they just needed the chunks to reload or something? Idfk.
No matter what I do, I literally cannot knap rocks in TFC4. It just says to use it against a hard stone. I have held rocks in both hands, one hand, used it against cobblestone, stone, I went into creative to see if a harder stone like obsidian would work and nope. This is extremely infuriating, and I feel I don’t need to explain why. There are no controls to change for it, it just literally does not work. The GUI shows up for half a second maybe.
Hi all!
I've been having trouble completing these 2 quests, since I don't know how to get these items. Searched a lot in the game guide and internet, but didn't find anything (specially the copper shield).
How do you get these items? Thanks in advance!
The goal wasn't to create another survival server.
It was to build a world where history is made by the players.
Warspire is a TerraFirmaCraft 1.20.1 civilization server built around long-term progression, politics, trade, and conflict. Every nation starts with primitive tools and develops naturally from the Stone Age to the Steel Age, with no shortcuts or pay-to-win mechanics.
Some of the features include:
Season 2 is a complete fresh start, so everyone begins on equal footing. No established nations, no existing empires, and no players with years of progress.
If you're looking for a slower, more immersive Minecraft experience where the world is shaped by its community rather than scripted events, we'd love to have you.
Season 2 begins in less than two weeks. If it sounds like something you'd enjoy, feel free to ask questions or join us before launch.

I was making a modpack on 1.20 and was finding it hard to find mods that increase the number of biomes and/or naturally generating things like rivers and mountains and stuff, and since i heard that 1.21 remedied that i tried to assemble a pack there but many of the addons 5hat i wanted were not available, then i stumbled upon this in while browsing curseforge, is it good? Mainly concerned about conflicting with other mods or being too damanding of my hardware since my pc isnt that good
warspire smp is a smp that goes from the copper and stone age to the steel age in a progression system unique to our server. We also have siege engines custom scripts for claims and will have npc recruit soldiers. https://discord.gg/ha62ZyVR7N
