Why do we have to build a moon base?
It sucks that the pack forces you to do some AE2 crafts on the moon (making them on earth with shitty ratio makes no sense) why can't we just have some material like desh lock us from progression and then we can do everything else back on earth.? the fact that you have to split your production annoys me so much. (early EV)
Beast Tamer Farm?
So, for the first time, I encountered some pillagers, and the camp had a beast tamer. I saw that he quite quickly spawns beasts, and that they are a great source for hides, bones, and meat.
Now I wanted to ask if tanyone ever build a farm with a beast-tamer, just making him spawn beasts in a way that they can easily be killed without too much trouble (especially looking for a way to transport the beast tamer safely/stop him from doing his attacks).
Can I only use jute for farming grapes?
Usually recipes that require jute fiber can also let you use flax tow. Is there no substitute for the jute fiber to put it between the two grape posts, specifically flax? There is no jute around our base, just tons of flax, and does it really matter what rope-like material I should use? I think flax could be a good analogue, if it isn't yet. And if it isn't, I guess I'll have to delay grape farming until we find some wild jute
Yay, day 200 of my survival world! Just crafted a bucket, and yeah, this is my first playthrough.
Multiplayer syncing
So my buddy and i play TFG together with the essential mod on the latest patch, and i was wondering if there is a way to sync our maps so that we can both see what the other has discovered landmass wise. We can share waypoints that we make, but can't see eachothers cleared maps
what should i be doing by now
I'm mainly wondering what i should have to make the game easier like should i have a huge field of specific plants should i be doing any specific automation basically i want to know what i should have automated by around the right before lv circuits. I have a bucket that can move source blocks and a red steel backpack if there's anything regarding that
The Settling - simulating a civilization
Greetings people of TFG. To keep things short; we are running a server with two opposing kingdoms. Naturally, to keep things balanced and fun, we have a detailed set of rules. You can learn more about those on our discord.
The server is starting its second week and despite being tech-locked in the steel age, things are already getting hot (not just our forges). Currently, the kingdom of Norvind is heavily outnumbered and us such we are looking for new blood to swell our ranks.
Doesn't matter if you are a TFG veteran or if you are a complete newbie, everyone is welcome. We will gladly offer all the help you need so that you don't feel left behind.
If you want to learn more without joining our discord, I'll give it my best to answer your questions here or in DMs.
I will be happy to see you in-game.
How to turn off Vanilla Mobs
So I last played TFG like a year ago and there weren't any vanilla mobs in my playthrough and I wanted to play TFG Modern now cause a few of my friends bought minecraft recently. I would like some help in turning them off as it was annoying dying to a drowned with a spear every time we respawned. I also don't remember if I played on normal or peaceful last time and is why I don't remember seeing vanilla mobs
