I'm looking for 2 tips:
Is there a trick to getting 100 luck with Mikela? I have her lucky stat maxed out and lucky reroll stat. Do I just have to equip 3 Stochastic Transducers and 3 Golden Blocks or 2 Stochastic Transducers and 7 Golden Blocks? Or is there a simpler way?
Has anyone figured out a surefire way to find corrupted blocks, like a guaranteed spawn spot? I've got 60 hrs in this game and haven't found a corrupted block. I've gone toward the question marks, I've gone straight in random directions, and still haven't seen any red on my minimap.
Decent 360 degree attacker with heavy damage focus on one side for waves and bosses
It doesn’t go round corners well at all 😂
New to game and while I enjoy the building aspect of the game and trying to figure out a meta, seems to me only jean is viable. Mikela is ok and is easily second best, but Sam and cepheid, they're awful... They have low health and easily get swarmed and die. You can only run away so much, tough to be like 3 boss enemies... Impact damage seems to be the best form of damage and jean with shields is just too op. Is there any meta I should be trying for with Sam and cepheid to enjoy them more? Sam is kinda glass cannon, but cepheid is just crap.
Definitely could’ve cracked 150 or 200M if the Warden wasn’t an inconsistent mess, but I’ll take it.
Hello Y'all!
I am playing this game right now and im enjoying it.
Should i go back and buy the previous games ?
Are they Singleplayer too or some are online coop?
Because of the build i was not able to die unless i stood still, but i couldnt take it anymore and need to work in a few hours.
After about 130M the survival scaling goes ham.
I can still do all bosss in about 15 sec except the one that needs smaller ones to die so it can take dmg.
Because the smaller onces hp scales to oblivion, i took 5 min to get a box as the bot took over 3M dmg each.
Also and thats the wildest one, the one that enslaves smaller ones starts 3 lasers and follows u, the problem is, for some reason its movespeed is now so high that it teleports into me constantly hahaha
Also, all buffoutposts eighter despawned or the buff is not usable anymore
For the next run i need to unlock the champ completely first as im only at tier 3.
Second survival run, first one crashed at 90M, and now at 115M i found out that height also influences weaponarc, meaning my top 3 rows did no dmg.
My biggest enemy is not being able to zoom in in build mode ( prob because of the snek) and trying to keep the multiplier up still.
Takes about 15sec per boss and then i just start a makro so i spin on spot, cant loose 100hp because of crithealing and armor and damagereduction
Also dont disrespect the snek, the snek is keeping me sane
Edit: Any ideas on how to distribute the guns down ? I got the small firing ark corruption
I'm fairly new to the game, and so far I have really been enjoying the game, especially Jean, but I just keep dying with Sam, I don't know if I play too risky or something but I just don't have the same survival time compared with the other 2 drivers.
What actually classes as a massive block? I've tried a few different things but nothing seems to register
My challenge on Terratech legion is not popping for getting 8 inline wheels for the frontline roller wheels, any ideas on what I’m doing wrong or is it just glitched? Has anyone else popped this, and can give ideas?
Just found this game last week off gamepass. SUCH a good game. It really took the best aspects of two others games I always enjoyed. Banjo and Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts and Brotato. It really is so much fun. I hated the aspect of the long dialogue in nuts and bolts, and didnt like the constricted map in Brotato. This is just all the best parts of both.
What´s the deal here? First there is no "%" for grip. So why 50% grip? Someone knows how to unlock those?
The game is amazingly fun but there are cracks forming 35 hours into my playtime and as I feared, it's revealing some wasted potential. These aren't necessarily issues per se, just some desires from a fan.
Survival is too easy. The endless mode shockingly enough is a little too endless for my liking. The difficulty ramp relies too much on boosting enemy stats and not enough of the more satisfying option which is mowing down progressively larger hordes. I played a 2 hour run the other night, ending it with a self sudoku just after breaking 70 mil because all of a sudden time laid itself out before my keyboard and it showed me a future of repetitive broadsiding until I pass out. Please kill me instead of letting me choose to quit. Endurance should not determine highscores.
On the other hand, a betrayal of my first demand, I think a campaign run ends too abruptly. If you choose to forego killing the final boss then minions appear which is a lot of fun if you have a nice build going and anxious to give it up too soon. Wait too long however and a mass of elites swarm the screen and there is no more winning to be had. I'd be more satisfied if I could continue after killing the boss and testing the build against this swarm with a really fast difficulty ramp akin to how Megabonk does it.
Structures and bases aren't worth it. Enemy spawn around your current position so if you drive through the map searching for them then you're simultaneously not killing as many enemies, giving you less scrap and less levels. I'm just not incentivised enough to explore the map other than look for corrupted blocks and even then, it's a gamble whether you will actually find one.
Speaking of corrupted blocks, the pièce de résistance. Greed items - blocks that change the progression of any single run, The single most important factor for replayability - is seemingly few or otherwise missing entirely. Greed is what gives this genre so much depth, picking items that gives you big bonuses at the cost of a harder game. It's a risky self balancing skill check that by picking them up modifies your power spike. It comes with a promise that if you're good and have a strategy, then you will get to be FuckShit OP. Corrupted blocks are good for changing the way you build your tech but what about things that modify enemy spawns and types and narrowing block choices. Options like: less minions, more elites. Double Bosses. Incubating items. Rarer items but no upgrades. Vastly more chest spawns but less scrap. The only such item right now is The Gatchatron and honestly it's PEAK. I've made run attempts with Mikela just to search for it, blasting all my rerolls on engineer crates knowing that if I get it early, the run is set. Having 2 slots to roll on Mikela lets you hold a good item as a backup while rerolling the other for a chance at something better. There's risk, there's strategy, lots of RNG, it's a yummy item.
Anyways, with all that said, I'm quite satisfied with my playtime, but there is a real danger of me playing this as much as risk of rain if there's a bit more to it. Please, please, please feed me the addiction, I'd love it.
I could be wrong but when I add another set of wheels and the are above the other sets not touching the ground I noticed that when I add them my stats go up. I haven't played enough to see if I can see a difference but they are at the very least changing the stats on the build screen when you add another set that aren't touching the ground
Hey,
On Xbox, the vehicle part placement control is awful. I'm experiencing a huge lack of precision that I don't have on PC (controller or mouse).
Are others experiencing this problem?
