TRT, where do I even start? 😞

Hello. Need some advice please. I’m weeks away from turning 50 and I’ve been thinking more seriously about TRT lately because I’ve been dealing with a lot of the classic low testosterone symptoms for a while now: low energy, lower libido, brain fog, less motivation, slower recovery from workouts, feeling more run down in general, just not feeling like myself anymore. I do get morning wood from time to time, but it has been more difficult to get and maintain erections when I’m intimate with my wife. I know some of this can happen with age, stress, life, etc., but I’m starting to wonder if low T is part of the problem. I’m planning on getting bloodwork done soon with a new primary care physician (I haven’t met him yet), but I’m also trying to figure out what my options are if my primary care doctor or even a urologist/endocrinologist doesn’t really want to treat it or just brushes it off because my numbers are “borderline.” For those of you who’ve already gone through this process, where did you end up having the best luck getting treatment? Did you go through a regular doctor, a men’s clinic, or one of the online TRT clinics? Also, if anyone has recommendations for online clinics that are actually reputable and reasonably affordable, I’d appreciate it because there are so many out there and it’s hard to tell what’s legit and what’s just marketing. I live in a big city in the Midwest if that matters at all. Just looking for advice, experiences, or things you wish you knew before starting. Sorry, one last question, if any of you have experience with the online TRT clinics, are any of them covered under insurance? Thanks all!
