The point that hit home was giving the personal Shoe of the Year crown to the Nigel Sylvester 'Brick After Brick' Jordan 4s simply because it was accessible, comfortable, and actually entered daily rotation. A silhouette shouldn't win top honors just because it was artificially scarce and flipped for insane secondary margins. If a shoe just sits in a protective display box instead of touching pavement, it's missing the entire point of sneaker culture.
