IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
Hello to all readers of A Narrative Extra: The Screenwriter's Perspective.
I'm sorry to start with bad news, but it's necessary to be honest with you.
First of all, I want to sincerely apologize for my lack of discipline with TSP's updates. Behind every delay there was a series of circumstances that, although real, do not justify the damage I did to the story.
Ever since my previous device was stolen and I lost a large part of the plot chapters, everything started falling apart little by little.
When I got a new device, I made an even bigger mistake: I let my obsession with getting a contract with Webnovel.com completely ruin TSP's direction. And I must admit it without mincing words: I never really liked TSP that much in the beginning. I wrote it with my sights set on signing a contract, not out of passion.
But over time, as I continued serializing, I realized that the material had much more potential: the world-building, the characters, the power system... everything had potential. The problem was always me and my obsession with fitting into a place that wasn't mine.
I was analyzing all the possibilities for future plots, and I understood that it wasn't too late to correct course. That's why I've made a difficult but necessary decision:
I'm going to rewrite "A Narrative Extra: The Screenwriter's Perspective" from scratch.
I've found a new home on Novelpia Global, a platform where I truly feel I belong. I've come to accept that if I couldn't stand out on a site where I wasn't accepted, maybe I should move to one where I truly fit. And Novelpia is that place.
I apologize for having given you all kinds of excuses, bad news, and hiatus announcements. Also for the delays due to studies and work, which although real, shouldn't have affected my commitment to you so much. But as the saying goes: we learn from our mistakes. And this time I promise it won't happen again.
TSP was a mistake, yes, but a mistake from which I learned a great deal. I wrote it too hastily and published it too soon. And although the beginnings were promising, the novel gradually declined. Today I acknowledge that with honesty.
I also want to share something personal: during this time I've been writing out of necessity, to give my mother and my little sister a better life. We're going through a very difficult situation in my country, and every day is a battle. But that's not an excuse for my greed or my poor decisions. We're human, we make mistakes, but we must also face the consequences.
I'm sorry to say it, but "A Narrative Extra: The Screenwriter's Perspective" was a complete failure. Even so, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the support you gave me.
[ABOUT THE INDEFINITE HIATUS]
TSP will be rewritten, as I mentioned. That's why it will be put on hold, but with no return date. It could be months or even years before I touch the work again. It's not a definitive goodbye, but a "see you later."
I'm the kind of person who doesn't easily abandon a story when they find even the slightest hope of fixing it. That's why I prefer to put it on hold for a long time rather than cancel or abandon it.
This is not a cancellation. This is a new resurgence.
I don't know when I'll start writing the new version, because it will no longer be my main focus. But what I do know is that I'll have more new works on Novelpia Global, and I'll make sure you can read them.
[ABOUT MY NEW WORK]
Speaking of upcoming releases, I want to introduce you to a story that is very special to me:
「추방된 용왕이 되어버렸지만, 적어도 요리는 할 수 있다!」
[I Became the Exiled Dragon King, But At Least I Can Cook!]
Unlike TSP, I'm writing this novel with true passion. It may not get much support, but I'll publish it anyway because it's a deeply emotional work, inspired by my personal life.
I wrote it as a hobby during a very dark time. I reached a point where I wasn't doing well, and this story saved me from making a serious mistake that would have ended everything. I admit it without shame: this novel saved my life. That's why I want to share it with you.
It doesn't have a release date yet, but I plan to accumulate as many chapters as possible so you can enjoy it without issues, and thus avoid what happened with TSP.
The estimated date is mid-December 2026 or early 2027 (January/February, God willing). The next announcement I post here will be about this work, so stay tuned.
But also another thing: if everything goes as planned or I accumulate as many chapters as possible, this work could come out much sooner than expected (with safety and preparation).
Thank you very much for reading this far.
I love you, I respect you, and I value every minute you dedicated to my story.
Stay tuned for the next announcement.
See you soon.
