Jiu Ji-tae confrots brian laborn about violence

According to Jiu Ji-tae, those who inflict violence and harm the weak—regardless of their motives—must be prepared to take a blow in return; the act itself openly warrants punishment, and a punishment of extreme brutality, both physical and mental.
It seems to me that this clashes with all the "Undersiders," who tend to hold a "necessary violence" mentality.

A crossover Pact fanfic with The Magnus Archives would be either incredible or extremely redundant.

Okay, so if Lisa were to be one of gothams villain children (or a alternate version Of the villain) who would it be?

Okay so a little dumb post but got me curious and couldn't stop thinking about it for an hour. Harley Quinn seemed to be a reasonable choice. Seemed like good choice to be the mother of Lisa if the fanfiction had corrupted my view of her that is

But then I recently read a fanfiction where Lisa was the Riddler

I think it would be perfect if let's say the riddler was Lisa's father And Lisa always knows the answer.

So who do you think would be the parent of Lisa Wilbourn

Why did the Biotinker thing become such a common thing in fics

I don't really mean powers but kinda related, just the term and how it keeps getting conflated with certain characters.

Nilbog is one example. Dude is a master. Not a tinker. Yet it feels like every fic has a line somewhat like "The PRT/The Public hate and fear Biotinkers like Nilbog and Bonesaw"

And it almost always come up in relation to or thoughts of by Amy, despite it never really being a thing she thinks about in the original story at all. Amy's issues is with her dad and family life, she never really fears her full power set being exposed.

Really im just questioning why and how it became such a popular sentiment, when it never really was a huge big deal. Or maybe im forgetting something

Emergent Intelligence

Greetings, fellow parahumans—has anyone come across or heard of any fanfic based on the idea or concept of Emergent Intelligence?

If you don’t know what this is, in a nutshell, it’s the spontaneous emergence of consciousness or intelligence from the apparent randomness of a system. Some examples that come to mind are Webmind from the “www.wake” series, in which mutant data packets that don’t reach their destination accumulate at the bottom of the World Wide Web, eventually generating consciousness within it.

Another example that comes to mind—and the reason I’m writing this post specifically—is from Adrian Tchaikovsky’s *Children of...* series, in which two different ways of achieving this are depicted: one involves Dr. Avrana Kern, who transfers her consciousness to a computer and then to a biological computer composed of colonies of hyper-specialized ants; then there are others that took it to a planetary level, where the planet’s entire biosphere harbored five different consciousnesses. In short, animals generate small interactions that, when combined, give rise to complex thought.

Thank you

If worm fans actually read worm then one one sentence chapter and the Agnosia Plague would be stables of worm fanfic

instead we just 100 chapter focused on the trio and nazi apologia

Power This Rating No. 176

nearly autumn. by my count, #178 is actually gonna fall exactly on labor day lol

How This Works:

>You make one (or multiple) prompts, describing one or more parahumans. Somebody else may choose to respond to your prompt(s), building on what's provided, to make a cape.
While you can do so, you are never required to stick with just prompting or just responding; please feel free to do both.
Prompts are usually formatted using PRT Threat Ratings, but this isn't a hard rule. Do something more esoteric, if you'd like.
Lastly, if you're having trouble prompt-wise, feel free to look at other people's prompts for pointers or inspiration on what to do.

Threat Ratings have the potential for hybridized and sub-ratings:

>Hybrid ratings are denoted with a slash between categories, e.g. [Blaster/Changer]. These are cases where two or more powers are inherently linked to each other, not working without the other rating.
Subratings are denoted with parentheses after a parent category, e.g. [Stranger (Master)]. These are the side effects, or possible applications of a power from some other category.

No. 175's Top Comment: Misc. Prompts, by Shoddy_Macaroon6713

Top Response: A Stranger, by Legitimate_Fly9047

This came to me in a vision.

The fight with Alister was so fucking cool, I don’t even remember if Blake was the TB at that point but I couldn’t get this out of my head lmao.

Power for a name #134 Pyro

Provide as many or as few details about a cape as you like - their names, some costume ideas, maybe a bit of backstory. Someone will come up with the rest. Or not; you could make up your own cape, previous thread here. Or don’t; these are just ideas, previous thread here.

Today’s prompt is pyro, fire, fire burn baby, burn. These guys are all about high temperatures. A blaster that shoots flames, a shaker like Burnscar that just generates fire. Maybe a tinker that works with fire, or a master whose minion is on fire or creates it in some way.

For examples…

Sekhmet is violent, bordering on sadism. A melee Brute (Striker) with a minor Changer rating on her hands, she is actually a hero operating as part of a hit squad for kill orders.

Metatron is a Haven Master (Thinker). He is a weird one; his thinker rating is dependent on a burning effigy he summons. The more it burns, the stronger he gets, to a point where he starts to have backlash.

Io’s Breaker state is basically a living volcano. They are actually a Case 53, and their normal form is somehow worse for the surroundings.

Big Red has the most oddly specific Tinker specialization ever; all he can really do is put out fires, that’s it.

An ignorant alcoholic depressing OP self insert into Worm without knowing anything about it.

The typical self insert into Taylor, with a twisted, they are now and Beast VI/S's Draco. For those who don't know, here a link. Their memories are cheese holes and what they remember aren't pretty. Lot of confusion, anger and rage talk against the insanity of worm

OC:Yaun, Spirit of resentment

Yaun doesn't seem particularly dangerous or obvious from afar. He's not a beast, and he's not fast at first, but the closer he gets, the more twisted and dangerous he appears. His heart is in his skull, as he doesn't think rationally, and he has an emptiness inside him that seems impossible to fill, no matter what he does.

Spells: Making a pact with Yaun makes you practically immune to curses, grants spells that increase the user's brute strength, and adds the possibility of enhancing other abilities through negative emotions.

Offerings: Yaun loves displays of hatred; they are essentially sacrifices.

trivia: In the story Emma Barnes makes a deal with this spirit

If Taylor was part of the Wards from the beginning...

What do you think her relationship with each individual Ward would be? she would hate shadowstalker obviously, but I hazard a guess that she would get along with Vista somewhat.

Thoughts?
