So i love making concepts. And even though this game isn't even out yet I could'nt help myself. I got the urge to make concepts namely due to playing NSMB2 recently. So, i have two ideas. An evil version of White Raccoon Mario who is basically like a mario version of Fleetway Super Sonic or a powerful but very greedy version of Gold Mario. Which do you think is better?
I made this a few months ago and had originally posted in the the art channel in the catastrophes discord server, but I think that’s gone right now, so I decided to post it here too.
After the Spiteful Seven had completed their preparations, said their goodbyes, and grabbed their weapons, they were assembled by Lucan and Igor to prepare for departure. All airships sent into the storm had never returned. So the pair had decided to rebuild and upgrade a vehicle that the Seven had used previously, a long time ago...
(At long last the comic's main cast are united and ready to begin their expedition. Hope you guys look forward to the next act of the story! Also, sorry for the bad picture quality. I use natural light for my photos, and the weather has been really crappy lately!)
-TRANSCRIPT-
Panel 1- Igor... It's time.
Panel 2- Are all systems ready for departure?
Panel 3- Yep! I've done all I can to increase durability and maneuverability!
Panel 4- Good. Then we are ready. Is everyone here?
Panel 5- Ready to get this show on the road! Didn't see Wanda though- I think maybe she chickened out!
Panel 6- Wanda: WHAT was that, Troy?
Troy: Oh- er- I...I was just saying that you were right behind me! Heh...
Panel 7- Whoo hoo! Let's go blow something up! HEH HEH HEH-
Panel 8- Igor: Lenny! No explosives indoors!
Lenny: O-oh... right... I know that...
Panel 9- Lucan: Mortimer? Are you ready?
Mortimer:....
Panel 10- Lucan: Mortimer?
Mortimer: OH! YES, MORTIMER READY!
Panel 11- And last but definitely not least, I am ready as well. And I share Troy's sentiment. Let's get this over with!
Panel 12- Though I do question your choice of vehicle. Why this crudy old thing instead of an airship?
Panel 13- Simple. All previous airships sent into the storm have failed. Clearly we need a faster, more compact transport.
Panel 14- So we have restored our old chariot instead. Now get up here. It is time to take our leave. Everyone-
Panel 15- Get into the Doom Car!
As they were the closest to him, Laurence and Mortimer were assigned to convince the Prince (technically currant King) to permit them to leave. They argued for quite some time. Junior obviously didn't want anyone searching for his Dad other than himself. And he especially didn't want to risk the crew that he had almost grown to see as his family.
Eventually he conceded, realizing his father would want him to put their people first. Though it became clear that the two 7 members had very different perspectives on what was about to happen. Laurence saw it as just another mission. A wacky one off that would be resolved without issue like always. While Mortimer shared Junior's concerns. Whatever happened next, he made sure to promise he would protect his family, even if he feared the worst...
(Sorry I missed a week! I had to get a new set of colored pencils! Hopefully I can be more regular in the future!)

Panel 1- It's just not fair!
Panel 2- He's my day! If you guys are going to rescue him, then I should come too!
Panel 3- Ugh, kid, we can handle this just fine on our own. This is just another wack misadventure! We'll be in and out in no time at all
Panel 4- Then why are you so determined to leave me behind!? You're afraid I'll disappear too, aren't you!
Panel 5- What!? No! No one else is going to disappear! Trust me, we'll get in there, go on a wild goose chase, and then King Bruiser will pop up in the nick of time like always!
Panel 6- So you don't have to waste your time. Mortimer, the kid likes you best. Promise him it'll all work out.
Panel 7- Psst! Come on Mort, get on with it!
Panel 8- (Footsteps as Mortimer approaches Jr.)
Panel 9- MORTIMER... CAN'T PROMISE IT WILL BE EASY. STORM IS...VERY DANGEROUS. BUT WE PROMISE TO DO OUR BEST. AND FIND BIG BRUISER.
Panel 10- BRUISER NEED US. SO WE GO TO HELP. BUT KINGDOM NEEDS LITTLE BRUISER... SO YOU NEED TO STAY. IT WHAT BIG BRUISER WOULD WANT.
Panel 11- That's what everyone keeps saying. And I don't want to leave Karam alone...rh- fine. You can go... But Mortimer. You've never let me down before.....
Panel 12- Bruiser Jr: Can you Promise to take care of everyone for me?
Mortimer: MORTIMER PROMISE! ALWAYS!
Panel 13- Bruiser Jr: Good. I just want to talk with the others and Karam first- And if anything goes wrong-
Laurence: Kid, it's all going to work out just fine!
Panel 14- Just worry about holding the kingdom together, so that when we bring your Dad back he'll be super impressed!
Panel 15- Now come on Mort! I want to get this little quest done in two days tops! I've got a lot of big games coming up, and Laurence never reschedules!
Panel 16- Hey- uh- how about a hammer bump for good luck?
Panel 17- Heh....Thank you, little Bruiser.
Panel 18- MORTIMER GOING TO NEED IT!
He’s Lord Fawful from The Lost ROM Hack of Bowser’s Inside Story, a retake of a creepypasta titled, A_one, are you?
The only thing preventing him from getting in is that he (and, by extension, Fawful) have VERY specific appearances and he doesn’t have that much potential for a moveset.
But, other than that, I’d think he’d be a VERY interesting character to add.
