Guys..... cmon. Life can be sad. It seems the only people in denual are the ones who have never been so close to it. James/Kyle are probably conflicted and very saddened by the situation while also wanting to give a nod to the fans.

You can miss me with that dont speculate shit. Reach out to the dude. Lift his spirits up, tell him how cool it was to see him.

There are episodes that are painful to watch; I miss the ones where the nerd was sarcastic and delivered his insults in a more understated way. Now, it’s all shouting and over the top, exaggerated facial expressions, which is strange considering that James is an excellent actor. In his Monster Madness reviews, he often criticized the acting in horror movies, yet here he’s leaning heavily into that very style himself. It feels like he’s underestimating his longtime audience; maybe he’s trying to stay relevant to kids today who need something flashy to grab their attention, but the result is just bad. Sorry, but that’s how I feel. I love AVGN and Cinemassacre in general. In fact, I watch the “miscellaneous” videos James releases to talk about movies or other topics more often than the new episodes.
