Malik was “wright” about Jason and it’s embarrassing how obvious it is

Man listen… I’m sitting here watching S8, EP:2 and Malik been telling the truth about Jason this whole time. You can’t tell me he ever loved Chardonnay the way he swore up and down he did. That man’s heart been stuck on Kelly like glue and her name got mentioned a couple of times, he just be acting like he’s “moved on.”

And the conversation that Malik had with him? Yeah… he read Jason for it. He hit every point. Jason loves to act like he’s in love with Chardonnay but he professed his love to her at his wedding. He’ll lie, and shut down everything except be honest with himself.

Chardonnay didn’t like Jason at first, that man treated her like crap when they met, and wanna annulled the marriage. And Jason was still thinking about Kelly, and it’s true. She didn’t even know she was fighting a whole history he never dealt with. Malik saw it before anybody else. He always sees Jason’s patterns before Jason does.

This episode just reminded me: Jason doesn’t ruin relationships because of the women. He ruins them because he refuses to deal with himself.

And Malik? Malik been right since day one.

Jason was truly trash for this

He literally said he never stopped loving Kelly… at his vow renewal wedding to Chardonnay. Like… sir… your ex‑wife is standing right there watching you embarrass this woman on her own day. And Malik’s face said everything, you could see him thinking, “Yep, this man has never let stop loving his snow bunnies.”

And honestly, why did Chardonnay even ask Kelly to be in the wedding? That was mistake number one. The whole episode felt like everybody lost their minds.

And I’ll be real: I will always hate BET for putting Jason and Kelly back together. As much as I can’t stand the BET seasons, I genuinely feel bad for Chardonnay. She didn’t deserve to be the collateral damage in Jason’s mess.

And Kelly… girl. I’m sorry, but getting back with a man who treated you, Chardonnay, and honestly himself like that? A cheap, sorry man like Jason? Couldn’t be me.

I remember watching it live, and my 15‑year‑old self was furious at his bald‑headed ass. That whole storyline still irritates me.

Edit: I can’t believe I had to watch it again on Dabl.

Jason was never over Kelly and the signs were right in Chardonnay’s face

So… I rewatched the BET seasons of The Game even though i hated the seasons, and yeah, Chardonnay should’ve seen the signs. Jason was not actually in love with Chardonnay. Anytime Kelly’s name came up, he was still stuck on her.

And Chardonnay? A Black woman? She deserved way better than being in a marriage with a man whose heart was still with his ex.

Malik wasn’t lying either. He clocked Jason from the jump. Jason never stopped loving Kelly. The second she came back around, that man folded instantly. You could see his whole energy changed.

He literally said at the wedding he never stopped loving Kelly, and she was sitting there (I do blame Chardonnay for inviting her).

Chardonnay wasn’t losing to Kelly, she was losing to Jason’s unresolved feelings.
