I got this magnificent piece done a few months ago and i wanted to share it with you guys, it is inspired by chapter 17, book 12.
The whole tattoo was done freehand except for Alice's silhouette and the three flowers.
First pictures are from the day i got it done, last pictures are now that its mostly healed.
It has a very dear meaning to me, and Alice is my favorite character !
Personally, it'd be the Fiend in books 5-6, where he's simultaneously scary, calculating and superficially charming, trying to lure Tom to the Dark.
And the Bane too because I find him interesting (he's the only Old God to have ended up as a demon because of his imprisonment and was trying to re-ascend to his old status in book 2)
Does anyone recall that Alice had a full moon birth mark that filled up as she grew closer to the dark? I remember how she explained that the once it become full, she would be a malevolent witch and wouldn't be able to feel normal emotions anymore. Do you think that it's possible that this later retconned because she acted normal in the Starblade Chronicles even though it grew to a full moon.
What do you guys think?
I always wondered about this in the series.
So if I understand it right, Zenobia the ex-girlfriend of Zeus gave birth to the first lamia demon at some point. This unnamed lamia produced the other lamias.
Zenobia, much later in life, also gave birth to Tom and his six brothers.
So the first lamia is Tom's older (half) sister, and her children, grandchildren, etc. are Tom's nieces.
That means, technically, Meg is Tom's great- great- great- great- great (x1000) grand niece since she is descended from/is the great- grand child of Tom's sister.
Instead of calling him 'Billy', she should just call him (Great) Uncle Tom.
(Or maybe they're just distant cousins...?)
