This is from the Disney Music Emporium's (their online store for music; mainly vinyl and some CD's) about page, if you want Muppets reissues, especially stuff that's long out of print or has never been on vinyl (Rowlf 's Ol' Brown Ears Is Back 🤞🤞🤞) send them an email letting them know! This seems to be one of the rare instances Disney is actually looking for customer input, if enough of us respectfully let them know, they may just listen. Last year "The Green Album" got a vinyl reissue. Recently they've been doing a ton of old Disney channel stuff. In 2026 anything can get a vinyl pressing. Anything.

Hi! I'm Amanda and I'm the Group Sales & Audience Development Manager at u/NewVictoryTheater in NYC, and a lifelong Muppet fan. I wanted to share with my fellow enthusiasts that the theater is presenting Jim Henson's Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock LIVE starting on May 30. It's a 90 minute musical based on the Apple TV+ series, with walk-around versions of the Fraggles, small puppet Doozers and a huge Gorg. We announced the show more than a year ago and I've been geeking out about it ever since. 

The theater is a family friendly venue, but we're also hosting two "Grown-Up Nights" in June that will have specialty cocktails and pre-show activities, plus pictures with the Fraggles after! Happy to answer any questions you have and hope to see you there.

So I’m rewatching Muppets Mayhem to prepare to ride Muppets Rock n Rollercoaster next week (I’m so hyped!!!) and I just got to episode 4.

I love the show’s soundtrack, but man I really wish it had Rockin’ Robin in it. We to got to listen to what it would’ve sounded like when Moog made that remixed version of it that he sent to Nora so she could show Penny, and in my opinion it sounded really good!

Also I would’ve loved to hear David Rudman’s Janice sing the song just like how Richard Hunt’s Janice did on The Muppet Show.

Treated myself to my second pattern out of Drew Hill’s book of Muppet crochet patterns. (Animal was the first one I did!)

I just randomly draw one of them out of a hat because I agonize over choosing too much. This week was Rizzo! Fun way to spend the day 😊

With all the talk of the muppets recent 4 issue comic mini, I thought I would share a recent t-shirt I bought that places our friends onto the cover art for Fantasric Four 1.

I love the responses I get on this from comic book fans and muppet fans alike although I have had to explain both sides of the mash-up to people.

I haven't seen all of the new Muppet Babies, so forgive me if I'm just uncultured on who this character is 😅 This is just the first time I've seen her anywhere

This is a very interesting case that I haven’t seen many Muppet/Sesame Street fans talk about in retrospect (at least not as much as the whole Steve Whitmire firing). From what I have read from the time, there was a lot of division on whether or not these sexual abuse allegations seemed legitimate and truthful, or were just a whole shakedown after Being Elmo released. I honestly don’t know.

Personal anecdote: I remember hearing the breaking news back in 2012, and it was very sad to hear, both in terms of the seriousness of these allegations and that he left. He practically created* a character that I and many of us grew up with and loved, and we got to know him and his story through Being Elmo.

So I was wondering for those who have done the research, did Clash seem more likely to be guilty or innocent? Obviously we can never definitively know since he never went to court as the lawsuits were thrown out due to the statue of limitations expiring, but what can we make of what we do know now that it was over a decade ago?

*I know the Elmo puppet was around before Clash and was passed around to a lot of different performers. But pretty much everything that Elmo is today in terms of his personality, voice, and mannerisms are all thanks to Kevin Clash. He created an entirely new character, similar to what Frank Oz did with Miss Piggy.
