Okay, I’m sorry for asking but can someone explain to me how magic works? Cuz I’ve read through to the latest parts of the manhwa and most of the novel now but cannot for the life of me full put it together.

The best I got is that magic power is that it requires years of training to be used effectively, has elemental attributes, exists in the atmosphere, and is separate from spirit power.

I’m sure I can think of a couple more details about magic if I really think about it but I still wouldn’t be able to put together how it’s supposed to work.

I’ve tried starting this manhwa twice before: first when only Season 1 was out, and again when Season 2 dropped. But yesterday I gave it a third try, and I’ve got to say, I got so hooked that I cleared all 174 chapters in one go.

Now, here I am writing this post. Why? Because I want to dive into the light novel next.

However, after browsing a few threads, I realized that especially after Season 3 (though there were some gaps in previous seasons too), the adaptation didn't quite do justice to the novel and left out a lot of details.

Truly speaking, I don't have the patience to start the novel from chapter one right now since I’m too eager to see what happens next in the story. Instead, I’m creating this post to ask: What are the most important things the manhwa skipped over that I should know?

I humbly request all the OGs out there to enlighten this wandering apprentice!
