I've always been confused by this can anyone explain it? Remember the line in On The Mountain Tall:
I know you want me to be afraid. I know you want me to love you
It's talking about God I'm pretty sure, but why would he want you to be afraid? Is that to reflect our misconceptions of who He really is?
