Do you see the Giant as evil?
Personally, I don’t. Initially, I read it as after Wyatt dies, the Giant felt bad and used its power to change what happened and allow him to escape. It only wanted to be remembered while staying safe from those who would harm it, and while it is scary, it isn’t malevolent in my opinion. This theory seems unpopular though.
In my interpretation, the Giant was only trying to chase Wyatt off because he reminded it of the construction workers that destroyed its home, but when it remembered the humans that were good to it and how good it felt to be loved during the Life of a Giant montage, it felt pity and allowed Wyatt to escape and share its story with the world.

What's this in Part 3?
There's a red object under the tree at the beginning of part 3, around 3 minutes in. Does anyone have a clue of what it is? I thought maybe some flowers but I don't think they're there in the previous video.
Local mall
Hey guys 😹👋 I was at my local mall (in Dallas) and the lights shut off. This silly Billy appeared behind me 😆 such a silly goose
Hi guys, I built my own giant. it's 2.5 meters tall.
Hi, this is my giant. He's 8 feet 5 inches tall and has a cart with wheels so he can roll around. His hands can be removed from the cart like the original during the parade. I also attached the Obregon Studio business card to his chest, like in many photos of the original Julien.
I made this render in blender and with some effects

Is there any reason to not hide in the stores in this situation?
if you hid in a tool store, or just an office building, if you make a long roll of construction paper held together by tape, gave it structural integrity by putting cardboard in it, and attached a bunch of pencils to the end, couldn’t you just stab the rolling giant and trap it by lodging the roll of paper in there, making it stuck, and then just pinning the rolling giant using it? This would be pretty simple to do if you’re in an office building, as these are all materials you can find in it, and it isint very hard to come up with. Is there any reason why this wouldn’t be possible?
The brief look we have of a gaping hole in the food court wall is very interesting
I've been rewatching Kane's work since Backrooms released, specifically looking at his more hidden aspects of his visual storytelling I've forgotten about. There's plenty of this within The Oldest View; I think it's easily Kane's best work, largely because of his use of inferred details.
My favorite example of this is at 33:02, when Wyatt briefly pans the camera to show a large, Rolling Giant-shaped hole in the barrier where the food court used to sit. The obvious implication here is that other victims have met their fate inside of the remnants of this mall, but could it also mean the mall is beginning to decay?
I find this fascinating as it's the only part of the mall we see that is visibly damaged at the time of Wyatt recording his experience. The rest of the damage the mall accrues throughout the video is a direct result of the Rolling Giant chasing Wyatt as prey. What's your interpretation?
As an aside, I also love the brief glimpses we catch of the Rolling Giant stalking Wyatt without him knowing, like outside and behind the tree, and inside of the office space with its flags sticking out.
