LLTBP visuals/possible TPK visuals connection?

I made this post theorizing about TPK visuals and after seeing the Washington, D.C. exclusive poster had to make this comparison. Also of note, the Chris Anthony image attached has the caption “Some Sunny Day” which is a lyric from the song “We’ll Meet Again”…which they’ve used to open their shows recently at Wembley and in Nashville👀

Something oddly comforting yet depressing in the song perfectly well

This is more of an appreciation post of the song perfectly well; song like wake up, dive, and falling down deserves to be released but man do I hope and pray that perfectly well get released officially. Y’all that have heard the song, what’s your opinion???

Best Song Order?

I recently got copies of Into Your Arms, Watching The World, Wednesday, and Memories and I was wondering what was the best song order for them?

(I feel like they should go somewhere near HH cuz they fit musically being more bittersweet and lowk beautiful but idk exactly where. Memories feels like the end credits to the whole album so I think it goes as the last song)

I wait a lot for this.

Today is my birthday, and I waited until I finished some really important projects to give myself the whole day to finally listen to The Paper Kingdom from beginning to end.

I hadn’t done it before because I wanted to respect the band and didn’t feel completely right listening to something they never officially released. But after all this time, it seems like the album may never actually see the light of day, and I’d really like to have a proper listening session instead of hearing random songs or low-quality snippets with no context.

Does anyone know the best and most complete way to experience it, including the right track order and the best versions available? If anyone can point me in the right direction or help me with it, I’d really appreciate it :)

I just want to put on my headphones, disconnect from everything and give the album the attention it deserves.

Paper kingdom song ranking

Wanted to do a ranking because I have some opinions I have nobody else to share with (no narita airport, apoligies) Here we go.

16: DARK CLOUD

Honestly I think this song is some of mcrs worst work. Only good thing I can find in it is the guitar solos and the kind of witchy ambience. Otherwise, there just isn't much to enjoy. Also it's way too long.

15: FALLING DOWN

The synth ending is incredible, but mostly just a short boring song with some weird parts.

14: PERFECTLY WELL

Album is already starting to get good. Even if its short and slow, it's a pretty charming little song, and works well as a calm outro. Just not much to say about it.

13: STARS ALIGN

A nice little piano ballad that leads really well into bike thief.

12: LOUDER

I do love this song, but all the others are still better, so unfortunately it has to go pretty low. A great slow song with a powerful second part.

11: HIGH HOPES

I think it's kinde weirdly placed in the album, but a nice chill song.

10: FAKE YOUR DEATH

Of course a great song, but makes me sad how this is the only one to be released. There are so many better ones on this album, but I'm happy we even got an official release of a paper kingdom song.

9: OPERATION DAY

Such a damn good song. So mcr, and the instrumentals and vocals work perfectly.

8: BIRTHDAY GIRL

An absolute banger. Instrumentals go so hard and the lyrics really paint a great picture, and fits with the darker story perfectly.

7: BIKE THIEF

Might be controversial to put it this low, I love this song, such core mcr. But unfortunately, I prefer the other songs more.

6: DOGS

One of my favorites. Really catchy bassline and spacey sound, and that ending with the guitars and drums randomly jumping in gives me chills every time.

5: WAR BENEATH THE RAIN

This song is so perfect to bring back for their live shows. Epic song.

4: WITCH

Everything about this song is just so good. Opening notes hit you like a truck, and then fading into something slower, and then the guitars making it feel like a car crash. Perfect.

3: WAKE UP!

Probably also controversial to put this high. I just love this song so much. So catchy while including new elements and old elements of mcr. Reminds me of house of wolves.

2: DIVE

Really dark but such a cool and even slightly creepy song. The lead in from paper swords is almost mysterious, and the guitar cutting in immediately sets the mood.

1: PAPER SWORDS

Absolutely no competetion. Some of mcrs best work in my opinion. The piano line with the chant is really haunting, and then the rock parts really completes the song. Almost perfect.

MCR Melbourne Soundcheck Restoration Project - Unreleased TPK era song

Hi all,
I am starting a project for restoring the MCR 2012 Melbourne Soundcheck song, which is an unreleased TPK era song. The only recording is very poor quality and needs significant work to make it listenable. If you are unfamiliar, here is the link on youtube:

Any help would be appreciated, I have created a discord server, so if you are interested please send me a DM on here and I will send you the invite. Thanks!

Heard "birthday girl" at nashville

So I just got out of Nashville (incredible show!) and there was a moment on b stage where they started riffing random things between songs and it sounded just like birthday girl

Dive drumming Is a heartbeat

After Gerard says "let's fall in love And let's begin" And The synth part starts The drumming sounds like a heartbeat getting weaker And weaker And after Gerard says "come out for air come back to me" The heartbeat stops idk but i imagine someone being taken By an ambulance after drowning on that part...
