Fanon Extended Universe Idea

Idk how much this sub likes or hates this kind of posts, but I've been thinking a lot about these games and how cool it would be if they were in the same universe/multiverse. I choose games/series that have a lot in common between them imo, including how I feel about them.

Remedy:

  • Alan Wake
  • Quantum Break
  • Control

Bloober:

  • Layers of Fear
  • The Medium
  • Cronos
  • I hate this place (if it was an original ip)

Tango:

  • The Evil Within
  • Ghostwire Tokyo

Funcom:

  • The Secret World (and connected)

Some possible extra ones:

Housemarque:

  • Saros
  • Returnal

Airtight Games (rip):

  • Dark Void
  • Murdered: Soul Suspect

Considering also:

  • Haex (by the looks of it).

Let me now if you know other games with similar vibes.

I've also had quick, small, silly idea even on how the timelines might be distributed (last image, half made with ai, I admit), there are 3 main time lines:

  • the right one is our world (for arg reasons)
  • the middle one is where most games set in a world very similar to ours, but with lots of weird things that are kept secret from the public. This time line act as a "wall" between the previous one and the next one.
  • the left one is where everything has gone wrong (like The Secret World), split into various possible smaller ones

The Secret World 14th Anniversary | July 3 2026

Three nights ago I was running frequency sweeps around the Solomon Island coastal bands. Standard stuff. At 18:47 UTC something lit up that had no business being there. A transmission pattern activating from the direction of Kingsmouth Lighthouse. Not interference. Not noise. A structured broadcast with deliberate spacing, number sequences, and layered signals underneath the primary voice track.

I know what you're thinking. But here's the part that made me sit down and stare at the wall for a while: the frequency signatures match Orochi equipment. Specifically, equipment from 2012. Equipment that was supposed to have been dismantled after Project Polaris was terminated.

It gets stranger.

The signal isn't whole. It's geographically distributed. I'm only receiving a portion of it here. Based on the frequency mapping, there should be five or six distinct streams, each reaching a different part of the world. This wasn't a mistake or a malfunction. Whoever built this designed it so that no single receiver could intercept the complete transmission. You would need people in different timezones, comparing fragments, to hear the whole thing.

Someone went to a great deal of trouble to make sure this couldn't be silenced.

On 3 July 2026, at 19:00 UTC, the full broadcast activates. That's 14 years to the day from when the fog came to Kingsmouth. I'm going to need your help.

Head to feedthemoths.blogspot.com on the day. Select your timezone. Download your fragment.

Then we pool everything.

Come and watch the livestream first if you like: twitch.tv/catboiler from 18:00 UK time on 3 July. I'll be explaining what I've found before the signal goes live. As well as this, I know he's planning a new mission to be unveiled on stream that evening, plus organised PvP matches.

The lighthouse has been quiet for 14 years. Something woke it up.
