Granted I don't read as much as I used to anymore but I cannot recall being this frustrated at a character's continual survival, though I honestly love the tension he brings in ever chapter following Fran or Stuart. I could understand his pain and insecurity, I relate heavily, but god this is some level of incelmaxxing I've had the pleasure of never being exposed to before.

I've only halfway through the book (where he tries to kiss Fran), so please, no spoilers beyond that.
