This is going to be such a long shot and I’d be surprised if the post is approved but anyways…

I’m trying to find a guy named Michael from Austin, TX, whose favorite band is The Story So Far. We met at a show for some local bands at Stubbs on Saturday 8/15. We talked about music and favorite bands and gotta say his music taste was impeccable (for me and from what we discussed in between sets). I have listened to TSSF but haven’t really dove in to their discography and bet that now this band will forever remind me of this guy haha

Anyway, I guess the purpose of this post is to 1) hopefully find him and 2) give me more recs on TSSF (fav albums, live performances to watch, etc).

I’ve been playing their self-named album since yesterday (thanks to him) and know a couple of songs off What You Don’t See.

Is it worth going to the NYC show? I’ve heard it’s a bad venue and it’s on a Sunday night. I’m trying to meet more people with similar interests in my area.

First ever attempt at a proper cover please give it a watch if you so desire also some feedback would be great

Specifically lesser known bands, I have yet to find anyone who has that same angst and writing skills as Parker. Hope yall got some good deep cuts for me.
