Writing this because I genuinely got ecstatic seeing the warriors in any tv show as I don’t think I’ve seen anything like this before. If anyone’s seen your friends and neighbours you’ll know what I mean. Also stole this picture because I’m watching on my phone Myb 🤷♂️
Started reading through the Yurick novel for the second time and I just read past the introductory chapter of Ismael and I've really been confused with some of the dialogue here, stuff like "Well, how, like, are we making it, man?" or "Like we have to cut. Hot. Movies."
I get it was written in the 60s but I can't understand this at all. If anyone's got a better grasp on this, could you clue me in on what this kind of dialogue is supposed to mean?
