Anyone else think there are too many ads on the podcast?

After honest opinions here and not trying to criticise. Latest episode had an ad before and straight after the intro followed by many others. I had to turn this episode off as I'm finding it difficult to enjoy the content as it's being interrupted too often.

Anyone else or am I alone with this.

Hecklefish plushie questions

Yall I want to get a hecklefish plushie for a friend, cause they mentioned wanting one, but is it worth it? (I would buy the plushie and voice box 2.0 combo) Could yall maybe post photos or videos of yours and let me know if it was a good buy?

Also a few questions, is the voice box really loud? Is the tinfoil hat removable, cause it doesn’t seem like the fish wears one in the videos and I keep finding photos of the plushie without it? Apparently the voice box isn’t sewn in, but it is at least inside, how is it sealed inside if so?

Megathread 7/3/26 - Project Chronos

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UHcGUm06CQg

By spring of 1945, Hitler was surrounded on every front, but one project inside a secret mine kept running until the end. It was called Die Glocke, The Bell, built on mercury, fire, and a design borrowed from a thousand-year-old Indian text. The scientists who built it vanished, along with the man who ran the entire project. Decades later, the same technology resurfaced in a US Navy patent, and nobody could explain how it got there.

Dyatlov Pass video should be redone

There are loads of holes pointed to the avalanche theory that was presented as the clear answer in the video.

Megathread 6/29/26 - The Basement: Dave Paulides

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BW-fFLTmzAo

David Paulides spent his career as a detective. Then two park rangers knocked on his door and told him something that didn't add up: people are vanishing in our national parks, and nobody's talking about it.

Search dogs that won't track. Hunters who walk back with stories that shouldn't be possible. A bullet that hit nothing.

How 9/11 Created COVID

Most people believe the COVID story begins in Wuhan. It Didn't. This investigation follows the trail backward—from Wuhan to the funding, from the funding to America's biodefense expansion, and ultimately to the events of September 11, 2001.

Was COVID created by 9/11? No. But did 9/11 fundamentally reshape America's biodefense system, pandemic preparedness, and infectious disease research in ways that eventually led to Wuhan? That's the question this documentary investigates.

After months of research, government reports, historical records, presidential speeches, congressional funding data, and publicly available documents, a surprising pattern began to emerge.

This documentary explores:

• The September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks
• The 2001 anthrax attacks
• The rapid expansion of America's biodefense programs
• Federal funding for infectious disease research
• President George W. Bush's 2005 pandemic warning
• President Barack Obama's 2014 pandemic warning
• The Ebola outbreak and pandemic preparedness
• The growth of U.S. biodefense infrastructure
• Anthony Fauci's recurring role in infectious disease research
• The funding trail leading toward Wuhan, China

Rather than focusing only on where COVID began, this documentary asks a different question:

How did America build the system that eventually reached Wuhan?

Whether you agree with the conclusions or not, the historical timeline itself raises important questions that deserve to be examined.

If you enjoy investigative journalism, historical documentaries, government history, national security, biodefense research, pandemic preparedness, and deep-dive analysis, consider subscribing for more documentaries exploring the hidden connections behind major events.

Question about a quote.

In one of the time travel episodes, AJ says something to the effect of how time is not money because you can always make more money, but time runs out. Can anyone please steer me to that episode?

Megathread 6/26/26 -The Asteroid Behind the Bible's Most Famous Disaster

The Asteroid That Started a Religion
The Dead Sea Hides a Secret | The Bible Got It Right
The Asteroid Behind the Bible's Most Famous Disaster

In 1650 BC, a city on the Dead Sea burned so completely that nothing grew there for six centuries. The destruction happened in a single morning, and the evidence left in the ground points to something falling from the sky.

Three artifacts from three different countries describe the same event. A clay tablet from ancient Iraq. A bronze disk pulled from a German hillside. Melted pottery from the Jordan Valley.

Scientists spent fifteen years excavating the site. What they pulled from the ground included glazed pottery, shocked quartz, diamond dust, and skeletons frozen mid-step. The same fingerprint shows up at confirmed impact sites worldwide.

The story doesn't end in 1650 BC. The debris field responsible has a return date, and astronomers are watching the calendar.

Megathread 6/23/26 - The Basement: Andrew Gallimore

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nshX-5xjTlA
Dr. Andrew Gallimore has spent 30 years studying the world's strangest molecule — one your body already produces. As a neurobiologist and pharmacologist, he's built a scientific case that what people encounter on DMT isn't hallucination. It's contact.

In this conversation, Gallimore walks through the neuroscience of how DMT hijacks the brain's world-building system, and why that distinction matters enormously.

He also shares his recent collaboration with consciousness theorist Don Hoffman, work that produced a mathematical model of the DMT state that Gallimore calls one of the most profound moments of his career.
