Israel finished 2nd at Eurovision 2026, driven by one of the strongest public votes of the night.

While juries placed Israel lower (in the 8th position), televoters across Europe gave it major support, ranking it first, second or third in several countries. Israel received the highest public vote in France, Germany, Portugal, Switzerland, Finland and Azerbaijan.

The Greek diaspora is one of the oldest and most widespread in the world, shaped by centuries of trade, migration, war and economic opportunity.
