How do you manage to survive more than 2 hours in this game ? I always get ganked by bigger Dinos that kill me one shot or pack or 3 to 6 raptors and i just end up starting again.

Skins won't load, and the graphics / models / textures look so awful. I've tried all I could find so far. Everything just looks super smooth and playdoughy.
- Tried every graphic setting combination (Including 3d slider)
- Deleted config file
- No problem in Nvidia settings as far as I know ??
- I've deleted the steam cache
- Uninstalled and redownloaded the game
- Verified game files on steam
Is it a ram / vram issue? Surely the update didn't make it that taxing. I was averaging about 50fps on medium/lowish settings. It's sitting higher now at like 70 it just looks like trash. Assuming fps is higher because stuff isn't loading.
Anyone dealt with this?
Specs: Intel i5 10400F, 1650 Super, 16gb ram
Before the update to fish we could RMB on water and LMB to get it. Now is G for fishing but when I press LMB it disappears but the alpha icon remains. Am I doing it wrong?
Logged into triassic survival to grow a new dino and was met with this screen
Am I the only one who thinks the latest update completely ruined the ambush/stealth side of the game?
Bushes used to actually mean something. You could tuck into dense foliage as a carnivore and wait, or hide as a juvenile and actually have a chance to survive. Now half the undergrowth is gone, sightlines are wide open everywhere, and "hiding" is basically pointless.
Less vegetation, fewer obstacles, fewer terrain features to play around... all it does is dumb the game down. Stealth, positioning, map knowledge — that was the skill ceiling. Now it's just "spot dino, run at dino." You don't need game sense anymore, you just need eyes.
Feels like the update was made for people who couldn't be bothered to learn how the game actually works. The Isle was supposed to be about tension and survival, not open-field deathmatch.
Anyone else feeling this or did I miss something?
I’ve just tried to grow a deino two times and both times i spawned in the swamp only to find that there’s no fish anywhere to be seen. I know there are fish everywhere else but how did they mess that up?
I like just got into this game, instantly fell in love with playing croc, the struggle, the loss and victories associated with it. I especially got into it once i discovered i could be black and yellow and have babies, so i could make a clutch of crocs that werent black or grey colored. Now theyve taken away a lot of the brighter colors for deino, back to bland grey and browns xc
Safelogs & Entombments wiping ur dino have been fixed
Wound System (slows speed & dmg below 50% health, replaces scarring with Limping) will be available this hordetest but not at launch
Bary & Camara are not ready for hordetest, dondi calls anyone a liar who claims such (as expected via the devblog)

Yes its another rex rant. Yes I'm a bad trike player and I'm still learning on the PVP server. But why man even if I get the rex low to 20% - 30% HP and even if I am still as high as 70% or 80% as long as they fracture me all they got to do is wait every 5 seconds and whittle me down and I can't do anything about it? I try my best to time my attacks but they can just cancel it? That seems unbalanced. I wish trike can still have its guard stance while fractured. Right now its like having 4 bars of HP every fight.
I want to be a little bit of an aerial hunter chasing after babies. What would you suggest for mutations? I’ve taken efficient digestion and gastro so far. Increased damage to bleeding targets worth it?
i love playing galli, but it gets frustrating when im almost always outrun by a carno. sure, i could hop up on a rock but im usually unlucky and never can find one soon enough. does anyone have any tips on getting away from them? gallis whole thing is speed, but against a carno it seems it doesn't matter

I'm new to the game and don't have enough experience. A tried Ptera on Wednesday on Bosch new 3rd (test) server. I could eat and fill my stomach. Then I died after an attack and started a new ptera. And since then it just doesn't work. I press E when I got food on the floor does the animation and it doesn't fill my stomach. When I try with fish I don't see anything in my mouth. When I do this with bigger prey there's a chunk of meat in my beak.
- tried fish (on floor not from mouth) , boar, other carcasses
- tried from different distances and angles
- tried on other server because this was a test server
- deleted cache file, reinstalled game.
I only ever tried tenonto besides ptera and it works fine. Whenever asked soneone about this problem it was news to them too. Also since last update I can't start spearing. Right click at water does nothing even dough it's daytime and sun is shining.
Does anyone else feel the new graphics are "tearing" the screen?
It looks beautiful in the sun but I'm getting a headache after a bit of gameplay because something feels odd.
Do you feel the same? Did you change something in the graphic settings to make it better?
As a lot of you know, The Isle made a huge rework of their skin system. And it's pretty bad, the customization is so limited it might as well not even exist. Some dinosaurs getting practically nothing when it comes to new skins.
But one thing that I only saw a few people talk about was the few new patterns they added. Mainly to Carno, Herrera, Omni, and Troodon (I know it isn't technically a new pattern, but the change is so drastic I counted it as one). And most of them look absolutely stunning. They even pay homage to some of the earliest Isle skins with the Carno. They all look nice, which just makes the gutting of the skin system sting so much more. Like they could have just added some new patterns with their own unique color palette, but they also had to gut the entire skin system while they were at it.
The Isle gained a lot of traction when streamers started playing on that one big voip server and now there’s a bunch of servers setting up their own voip. I’ve played on plenty of these voip servers and it can be fun but the vibe is completely different. It feels like the people that are drawn to these servers are there just to mess around as if the map is just one big lobby.
I didn’t have a huge problem with it until now because there were only a handful on these servers but now there’s voip everywhere and some servers are even making it mandatory (really??), which ruins the experience for those of us who don’t want to listen to people make weird noises, yell out slurs, and just enjoy the isle as it was meant to be enjoyed.
Voip makes good streamer content but it takes away from the game in my opinion. I know there’s plenty of servers right now without voip but I worry that more and more will go down the voip rabbit hole.
