What kind of rug is this?
Sorry for the picture showing just a corner but there is a heavy table on it

Any idea where this rug is from and how much it’s worth?
Assuming this to be an Afghan Baluch but unsure of its age and which design elements it’s incorporating. Selvage has a mix of goat hair and wool and a wool foundation. Periwinkle pile is raised above other colors. Are these beetles throughout?
Found this on FB for $800. Seller said there aren’t any tags on the back.
Here’s the exact listing:
“Persian hand knotted wool rug 9 ft X 12ft
Excellent condition
From Northwestern region of Persia famous for producing a sharp geometric hexagon enclosing concentric contrasting fields, creating a multi-layered focal point. The Pattern field around the medallion is decorated with a tight Mina Khani (daisy) repeating geometric floral motif over a deep red or burgundy ground. this rug comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home.”
Got her on FB marketplace for what feels like a steal. I would love to know more about her!!
Update: I found information about this, finally. It is a Pashmina shawl with silk warp and wool weft; probably woven in Kashmir in the second half of the 1800's. I'm so pleased to have some information. If anyone can offer more insight, please comment. Thank you.
I got this from a friend and I believe she said it is from Afghanistan, but this could be incorrect. She says it is all wool. It feels coarse and it is one sided - meaning that only one side is suitable for presentation. Can anyone help identify the possible origin and offer what uses it was made for? The people I've shown it to said wall hanging. I suspect it was made with some particular use in mind. Many thanks.
