This is Satan's Sigil Actually

This Sigil comes from The Grimoirium Verum. In The Grimoirium Verum, the names Satan and Lucifer are used interchangeably, because the author of that Grimoire considered Satan and Lucifer the same entity.

If you consider Lucifer and Satan completely separate Entities, you probably shouldn't use this Sigil, as it specifically gets you in contact with a Lucifer Who is also Satan.

I hope this helps. 🐍

I think I'm doing this wrong

I wanna follow satanism's message of like "you gotta celebrate/worship yourself" but there's only one problem with that; I'm really self-depricating and I hate receiving gifts and stuff like that. any advice?

I am on the sinister path, initiation awaits for me to grasp it. New events to experience, new hardships to overcome, and new strength to gain. Satan and the Dark Gods call me, yet again.

Okay so I’m a bit confused

Sorry if this just sounds like a lazy “explain like I’m 5” but I really don’t know if I’m thinking about this correctly.

I always sort of assumed Lucifer and Satan (or Baphomet, the Devil, etc) were all just names or colloquialisms for the same figure: an adversary that “fell” and is starting to be seen instead as a revealer of knowledge and promoter of free will.

I only recently (past few years) delved a bit deeper and found that Lucifer is actually quite unique in a lot of ways. Not only was he never really described or depicted the same way as your horned Satan or Devil, he seemingly originated in text as a personification of Venus as the morning/evening star. So there, I thought I had cracked it, Lucifer and Satan may well be different.

I then learnt about occultism and consequently, these communities of Luciferians, Satanists, and many more. Though now I have another dilemma, I just found out that Theistic Satanists are apparently NOT worshippers/devotees etc of the Devil and instead that title goes to those who are called Diabolaters or Diabolists.

So here’s how I also find out that the Devil which I thought at the very least referred more generally to the commonly depicted Satan, is actually different? Or a title for multiple individuals/forms of this being? Along with that, I have no idea if the figure of Baphomet even comes into all this at all lol. I know he (he?) seems related to alchemy more than anything but I’m not entirely sure.

So once and for all, even if it is a sort of fluid or changing subject that might not have one definitive answer, what are the differences between Satan, the Devil, Lucifer, and even Baphomet? What might Luciferians, theistic Satanists, and Diabolaters do/believe differently? I get the idea from reading a few posts that a lot of people here might identify as most or all of these labels at the same time too, so that’s interesting!

Sorry if this was a wall of text, but thank you so much for any insight

Is it possible to be a Satanist while also decentering Christianity?

I know some people consider themselves biblical Satanists and I totally respect that!

for me, I feel very drawn to this religion alongside my practice of venerating Greek and Celtic deities as well as Goetic demons.

I’m just trying to parse…who this entity would be and where they fit if I’ve decentered Christianity

What other belief systems influence your practice?

Personally I consider myself a Taoist in addition to being a Satanist, in my view they’re largely complimentary to one another. My beliefs have also been influenced by Thelema, Shaivic Hinduism, Kabbalah, and the philosophy of Max Stirner. I’m interested in hearing what influences others have, if any.

Can someone help me?

I’ve been doing everything for Satan and demons, burning incense, burning pages from holy texts, praying, meditating, researching, and I still somehow can’t see Satan in my dreams, I used to see him like a year ago but technically I’ve only seen Baphomet, lord Asmodeus, mammon, and a few other demons but why I can’t see Satan in a dream? What could I be doing wrong and what could attract Satan into my dream realm? For example in real life I constantly see Satan and a few demons here and there but they’re rarely appearing in my dreams and personally it’s worrying me, like I’m dreaming of other things while I should be dreaming about Satan, should I pray to him about that? I’m honestly really fucking tired, I have to manage working and then giving my time to demons, and then for Satan, and I do all of that and I still don’t feel good enough. I honestly want to fucking cry. I don’t wanna worship a god that doesn’t love me, I’m sure he loves me but I’m losing it. I hate the Christian god so why am I having dreams of being in a church with other people? I’m losing it. I’m reading every book I can, even making videos about him, I don’t know I’m just going to take a fucking break, lmao. I used to feel his presence before sometimes without even doing anything, man idk. I’ll probably delete this. I wish I could scream my lungs out until they collapse. I have so much trauma from Christianity and I don’t wanna go back to a religion that hurts me I’ll just calm down I don’t fucking know

Devil contract

Could anyone tell me where I can find at least one plausible version of a contract with the devil for selling one's soul, with instructions for scientific purposes only

Hello everyone!

Hello everyone,

I have an important question about the theology of Theistic Satanism.

I've come across many different Satanic websites, and they often present very different beliefs. For example, some describe Satan as the Absolute or the supreme deity, while others see him as an immensely powerful god, but not the highest reality, believing that there is an even greater, impersonal source beyond him that does not concern itself with humanity. Then there are traditions such as Joy of Satan, which present Satan as an ancient god with their own distinct theology.

Ever since Aleister Nacht left YouTube, I've felt like I no longer have anyone to ask these kinds of questions.

What would you recommend to someone who is sincerely trying to understand these different perspectives? I should also mention that I prefer to accept beliefs only when I find the reasoning behind them convincing.

Thank you all for your time.

— A fellow seeker of religious understanding.

I thought I would share a story about my first attempt at magick as a new teen Satanist in the early 2000's

This story isn't exactly one I'm proud of, because it illustrates what a negative and moody prick of a teenager I was.

I had just barely become a teenager at 13 and officially declared myself as this identity around 3-5 months prior with an introductory ritual to Satan and my gods. In the earlier stages as a Satanist, I was particularly interested in magick and I tried to gather as much information as I possibly could on the subject, particularly through the lens of satanic magick.

There was someone at my school named Chris that I had somewhat of "frienemy" dynamic with, but we still did more headbutting as rivals than anything. He had this sort of "I want to be a bully, but I'm too much of a pussy to be one, so I'll run my mouth" vibe to him.

Usually, our interactions weren't too big of a deal, he would often insult me and I would insult him, sometimes in an obviously joking manner, and other times it wasn't joking. I don't know what it was about my state of mind one particular day, maybe it was the new raging teen horomones, but I was in an especially hateful mood when he said something that ticked me off to the point where I wanted him dead, and I can't even remember what he said to me, but I do know looking back as an adult now, whatever it was he said was a ridiculous reason to hex someone over.

I completed a ritual that same day to hex him with harm, misfortune, or possibly even death. It began with me summoning my gods and expressing my hate and ill-will toward him, exuding all this negative and hateful energy outward, and ended with me burning a hand drawn image of Chris with his first and last name written on it over a candle before watching the smoke dissipate into the spiritual plane.

The next day at school, Chris was absent. I thought to myself "Let's not get too excited, could be a coincidence." Then the 2nd day I go to school, still absent. I thought "Eh, I still shouldn't get too excited, he could be here tomorrow and could've been absent for any reason." Third day: I see Chris is still absent and I raised an eyebrow... I thought "Ok, this could be good, but still, let's keep it together and not get too excited." 4th Day: Chris was still absent and I couldn't take it anymore, so I started asking around. I was informed that he was in the hospital due to pneumonia. He survived, he didn't die or anything, but this was just one of many examples, and probably the first example in my life that I saw magick used with actual results, and it was my first attempt at it. Although nowadays I only attempt to use magick once in a while.

Hey guys, I wanted to tell you something.

We Satanists are often targeted by other religions and subjected to all sorts of ill-wishes; while many people tend to either hide or react, I am one of those who prefers to keep a low profile. In my opinion, pretending not to be a Satanist—by claiming to be an atheist or something else—does not offend Satan. As long as you are doing it to protect yourself from others (such as Christian extremist scum), there is nothing wrong with it. Satan wants us to be safe and well, so if you pretend to belong to another religion to shield yourself from insults or the like, I say there is no harm in it. Hail Satan.

Satanic priestess here, looking to make friends

I am a priestess of a Satanic coven of around 30 people. We are theistic Satanists and worship Satan believing in him as a supreme spiritual entity and our Lord and god.. I have been a part of the coven all my life as I was born into it and I was appointed a High Priestess a few years ago and I love carrying out the rituals at our gatherings to honour Satan the king of hell..

We meet regularly at our secluded temple in the woods where we perform the black mass, which is basically a mockery of the catholic mass..I absolutely love the black mass as we indulge in pleasures and summon demons. I have witnessed many demons manifesting themselves which is always mind blowing and has strengthened my faith in my god Satan beyond any doubt. I have fallen into trances many times over the years and have received messages from Satan and his demons.

Indulging in the 7 deadly sins is how we live our lives. Only in sin is true happiness found. Feel free to DM me if you’d like to chat..

Satanic blessings be on you all, may he grant you every sinful desire of your hearts and fill you all with dark devilish joy… Hail Satan, god of the kingdom of hell which is where our every evil wants and desires will be fulfilled for all eternity, grant us oh our Lord and master Satan, your protection from all that we hate and fill us with your unholy spirit, we are flesh temples of your evil spirit and we live our lives for you, oh king and master Lord Satan..

Amen!

ritual to connect with lucifer?

So its quite a long story, I was just sitting in my room and felt a bit down, so i started to think abt harming myself, as soon as i got out of my room a weird panic and a feeling of being electrocuted hit me, i got into the bathroom and thought abt that weird and disorienting feeling and i suddenly hear voice that tells me not to do it, it also told me his name starts with „L“ so i asked on a discord server and someone suggested i just go through a list of demons whose name starts with „L“ to see if i feel connected to that name, and so someone said „Lucifer“ instantly came to their mind and it instantly felt right and that weird feeling turned into a feeling of safety.

So i know it was Lucifer that wants to protect me, but i cant find any book that tells me how i strengthen the relationship with him, i do that with satan by just praying to him, but Satan is my god so im confused, can i pray to Lucifer as a satanist and not a luciferian? and also, are there any rituals i can practice to do that?
