Ball Heads
Buddy swears by the IN-60T ball head by Fanaue, never used an inverted ball head and just wanted to see thoughts vs a traditional ball head ?

Wanted to write a quick overview of my impressions of this thing.
From a hunting perspective: get something better, you are looking at about 150y of pid on something hog or coyote sized.
From a tactical perspective: it's worth 900 bucks, and since the human shape is so unique, you are getting more like 200-300y of pid, with being able to see firearms being more at the 200y mark. My biggest deal is that you can actually magnify the image and take a nice aimed center shot on the heat signature, giving you a 300y night fighting gun(situationally dependant obviously). I still want a pvs14, but I am far less interested in LAMs now and am mainly wanting night vision for navigation purposes.
I want nothing too good as I plan to use it for airsoft and my budget is about 400 to 600.
yes it is not a lot and I know nothing to good for this amount but thanks for those who reply

I’m gonna be hunting coyotes and foxes with this thermal and I am new to it and I’m not sure which one to get. I can’t imagine I would be taking any shots over 200-250 yards so I’m just curious what everyone thinks

AGM Rattler 384 V3

My rubber eyecup kept falling off and finally disappeared I figured agm would sell a replacement but I cannot find one. Where are y’all going to replace these.
Anyone using the now outdated but easy to find clip on thermals? Looking for some video, need one for a 11.5 build. I have a AGM clip on it’s just to big to run it and raid XE on one rail
Have a Bog Infinite Deathgrip that I'm looking to replace. Want something lightweight, budget is under $200. I run ARCA on my rifles.
I'm tall if that matters - any recommendations for tripods that have extra length is appreciated
I love the pan tilt thermal!
I was recently gifted a AN/PAS-29 COTI clip-on thermal imager from a friend and I'm looking for an eyepiece adapter that I can use to turn it into a handheld device.
So far everything I've found is either unavailable or on a scam website.
Just got into hunting last year. Really enjoyed it. Some random guy at gun shop said if you really like hunting check out coyote hunting. Never really seen or heard about using thermals. This shit is so fun and pretty cool.
Videos - First time calling one in. She came to my west in the woods on a rabbit call. Seen her trying to circle the call. Turned it off and 2 mins later seen her come out in the field. She got scent on a coon and lost interest in me. Turned on pup distress and she came right over. Don’t know why I didn’t have rangefinder on and didn’t use other graphic settings. My heart was racing and was beyond nervous haha but all in all definitely hooked. Was on a horse farm so I didn’t want to shoot a bunch. Hit her a little far back. Gunna full body mount just cause it the first ever.
Second video- thought you guys would like to see the good detail of the rix storm hahaha
Any feedback or tips or anything much appreciated. Thanks!
PS90, with an FRT and a Oneleaf Mars Mini.. I have no idea how effectively 5.7 will take a hog or at what distance, but I kinda want to try it. Someone tell me its a bad idea, please...
ATN Thor V XD LRF 3-30. 5.56 10.5" Griffin suppressor. I got this scope new about 6 months ago and have hunted with it about a dozen times at most. The image quality is great, but i've had bad luck with either kills or odd misses that shouldn't have happened. I finally got around to doing a bit more indepth target shooting this evening to try to get to the bottom of the issue. Attached is a picture of the target. I did a reset to factory setting prior to this zero to start from a clean slate.
All shots at 60 yds. No
wind. Mounted to a tripod.
Shot 1 - Initial shot
6" low
Shots 2 and 3 - Shots after
the "one shot zero" was performed - acceptable group in the bullseye
Shot 4 - 3.5" high - I
thought maybe I pulled it or it was a "flyer"
Shots 5,6,7,8,9 - These 5
shots were fired together as a group (aimed at the center bullseye)
This is the issue i've been
having with the scope. I do a zero and think it's ready to go and call up a
Coyote or Fox and.....big ole miss. Setup a target the next day and the zero is
way off. I could fire another 20 rounds and they would group together with
shots 5-9. I just can't get the zero to stay in place where shots 2 and 3 hit.
I've double checked the
scope mounts and everything it tight and secure. Is this an issue any of you
have seen with the ATN scopes? Any ideas/suggestions?
